Lovely setting for tea. Food was very good and service excellent. Couldn't enjoy the selection of beers as I was driving although the one pint I had was lovely.

A huge thank you to the staff at the Old Hall who looked after us so well when our car broke down. We remained there for 12 hours waiting for a recovery vehicle. The staff on duty that day were amazing, so kind and caring with offers of support and help. The staff are a real credit to you and you should be immensely proud of them. Thank you to the Old Hall team, you restored my faith in humanity!

We popped in ,on the off chance there would be an available table for 2. Luckily there was. We went for light bites. Fish finger sandwich and a side order of chips. They weren't any old standard fish finger,they were beautiful white cod in a perfect batter goujon,with home made tartar sauce. Cooked beautifully. We observed other dishes being served that looked equally delicious. Would definitely recommend and will return.

What a beautiful old pub!Clean bathrooms, lots of parking outside, reasonable prices, very friendly staff and a beautiful atmosphere.They have a great selection of beers on tap, lots of local brews. The menu was quite diverse. Lots of traditional English foods like fish pies, fish and chips. But they also have some dishes like the crispy beef salad, burrata.The fish pie appetizer was out of this world!

We were passing through and desperately needed something to eat. They accommodated us gladly upon arrival and were reassuringly busy. The food was delicious, didn't take long to arrive and all the staff members we encountered were friendly. We'd like to return when we're in the area!

Beautiful building, lovely welcoming, friendly and attentive staff and INCREDIBLE FOOD. Faultless. Best Sunday roast I've ever had in a pub or restaurant. Soft, fluffy potatoes which are crunchy and flavourful on the outside, tender meat, perfectly seasoned veg and tremendous Yorkshire pudding! We'll be back - next week!
