Being fortunate enough to travel for a living, I’ve made it my purpose to find great places to visit and explore whilst staying in the locality.Pubs, proper pubs, have a very special place in my heart. I was brought up in them and I love to find a good one - especially one run by a great, and entertaining beer keeper. Sorry if you’re thinking I meant Martin was this person I was eluding to, (just kidding Martin) a couple of nights I’ve had to stop, on my reccy of the toon, and I have to say, by far the most welcoming.Thank you and see you again soon.John.

Very friendly bar with a lovely quirky building and some very good ales on tap. One of the better establishments we have visited in Berwick and we will definitely be returning soon.

Cracking real ale proper pub. It's got the lot. Quirky. Decent live music. 5 cask ales. Even Bass which you don't see so often.

Great little pub, called in here as we finished walking the Northumberland Coast Path for a celebration drink. Barman recommended a nice hoppy ale that we enjoyed. Pest pub we’d been in all week.

Cosy, quirky pub with fascinating décor and a great selection of alcohol.It's not wheelchair accessible but if you can manage a couple of steps in it does level access loos.

Great vibe in the place once again, live music every weekend and good selection of drinks. Couple of cobwebs but feels like a real pub.
