Ordered a toilet next thing they send an email saying......Our couriers are no longer delivering single heavy fragile items.We can not send these items as they are very high risk of damage.I am sorry that this is not the news you wanted.We have previously offered special fragile goods delivery but some customers thought we were trying it on. This being said we would like to help and with this in mind our manager has agreed to uplift your order to special fragile goods for an additional £35.00, if this is of interest please email us.This is optional and it is no problem either way, please confirm by return email how you wish to proceed.What a con.you should not sell items and then tell people they have to pay another 35 for delivery after they have already payed.Now I have to wait 2 weeks for a refund.I'm disgusted.HonestlyDon't buy from these people

I am renovating an old property and found that this company had exactly what I wanted to furnish my bathrooms.I spent hours on line finding competitive prices and BHS Home improvements products where unbeatable.I have vast experience dealing with suppliers and am always hesitant as I’ve had so many disappointments.In order to ensure I was making the right choice of supplier I telephoned and spoke to Paul who explained their delivery charges and reassured me that chosing this option was by far the best way to guarantee safe delivery of the products.I’m so pleased I did chose BHS Home improvements as my supplier as their customer service is second to none.Every time I telephoned with an enquiry I was meet with professionalism and reassurance.I would have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending them.As I say I’m an experienced buyer when it comes to home renovation and deal with large company’s all the time.This is an independent family run professional company that I will undoubtably be using again.Thank you Paul and your team for all your help and advice.

Ordered a £400 bathroom mirror which arrived broken. I never realised I had 24 HOURS to inspect and in the end it took me a couple of days to notice the fault (until the electrician arrived to fit it). This was not clear upon purchase and indeed I wouldn't have purchased had I known. Phoned to ask for a replacement, told it was my fault, customer service was absolutely SHOCKING. Paul was extremely rude on the phone, quite aggressive - I have never been spoken to by a company like that before. After 4 months and a lot of chasing and arguments on the phone, I got a refund but had to pay delivery costs, arrange courier back myself, and then they deducted original delivery cost from my refund. Steer well clear of this company - total cowboys.

This company is a joke. Poor service and customer service. Avoid at all costs. Speak to you like dirt, take way to long dealing with issues.Just expect you to drop everything and do stuff for them and for them to do nothing.Not really willing to assist and instead make demands or just tell you how it is when how it is, is nowhere near good enough.Don't listen to you at all. Just tell you when an item is broken that you need to wait in for someone to collect it. Don't even tell you when. Other option is for you to arrange and pay for a courier to collect the item, like we have time and made of money.They don't have anything ins tick so have to wait for them to get it from elsewhere before dispatching it to you.Claim it takes a week to organise a courier, as well all know there is such things as next day delivery/collections.Took over a week just to get an item to me, it's broke and take a week just to get it back to them, then have to wait for a refund after they receive the item.Absolutely shocking company. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered bathroom mirror cabinet, paid for standard delivery £15, next day received an email saying that unless I pay additional £35 (£50 in total for delivery) they won't ship the item.When requested cancellation, received another email saying that I should expect my money back on the account within 14 working days!?!I'm disgusted with their practises and customer service.

Please don't use this company. Faulty tap was returned on the advice of the company. I had to pay delivery costs AND return costs. Tap returned in May. I have chased several times for a refund. .Excuses have ranged from 'we don't have your payment details' to 'we will instruct our accounts department'. Now, on 4th July, they have decided the tap isn't faulty. I can pay £15 to get the tap back (£45 in total on delivery/return costs) or they will dispose of the tap in 28 days. So they will chuck a non faulty, £100 tap that belongs to me.Please note that the only communication I have received has been in response to my chaser emails. Having had the returned item for 2 months I chased only to be told, 'sorry for confusion, the tap isn't faulty, you can pay £15 to have it returned or we will dispose of it'.They have tried to palm me off with replacement parts for this and that. Apparently the tap head corroded due to 'chemicals' (all other chrome fittings are fine with the mild solution of white vinegar and water we use), the 'gland' issue is due to system debris (all other taps in the house are fine) and the plumber was lying when he said he couldn't get the tap head off.Does this sound like a company that had any intention of making a refund?I've never experienced such a poor service.

BUYER'S BEWARE.Simply dreadful customer service. Mirror delivered in pieces. Contacted BHS straight away. Advised they'd collect and a new one would be delivered (should be noted the first one took nearly two weeks to be delivered). I advised we had contractors in fitted the new bathroom and the replacement needed to arrive that week to enable the contractor to fit it, hasten to add it didn't arrive at all.Spoke to so many people (even Gavin's Mum) who answered phone one Day. Emails ignored, phone calls never returned, excuse after excuse. Finally, spoke to another lady who advised she'd been off on holiday and advised the mirror would be delivered despite the return still not being confirmed. I advised I had the receipt from the company who collected the broken mirror and could scan it over oh it's not a problem
