Such a glorious historical opportunity to visit the Cirencester Amphitheater! The surrounding park is wonderful too. Great place to walk dogs, walk with family and friends. Peaceful with a woodlands area to enjoy too!

A ring of grassy hills that you can walk on and through. Don't forget to check out the barrow located directly next to the ampitheatre.

I have been wanting to go here for many years, it did not disappoint. Easy to find, free parking and free entry. It was lovely to sit and just imagine how it must have been like, and how important this place was. I'm sure I'll be back. A great place for a picnic, or/and a dog walk, lots of poo bins.

Beautiful old site of a 2000 year old Roman Amphitheatre which at its peak sat 8000 people. Now a pretty place for walkers (with or without dogs).

Great place. Great energy. The little wooded area surrounding the amphitheatre has just as good, arguably better vibe than the actual main attraction. Whilst rambling my way through the woods I almost see the burger vans, hotdog venders and merchandise stalls lining the roman road leading to the Theatre.

Free parking. Easy to find. Interested to see what was left from roman times. It was a nice hot sunny day when we went. Perfect for a picnic or lay down on the top of the mound. My pictures do not do this place justice. Maybe would not travel just for this place but we was in the area.

Just a few grassy mounds now, but it's free, and some signage indicated how impressive it would have been. Worth a stop if you are driving past

I didn't know what to expect so I didn't have high hopes. The mixed reviews that I read online deflated me, but I decided to go and see with my own eyes.I did enjoy every second. The place was green, clean, no trash, no dog fouling and no noise. We walked on top of it, all round, then we went back to the free car park.I think the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For us 3, it was great and we even saw a little Bambi dear in the woods, so it was all worth it.
