Lovely course. Well maintained. Some really interesting holes, especially on the back 9. Only reason I gave 4 stars not 5 is the amount of blind tee shots and also walks back and to the next tee. Sometimes up steep steps. Didn't eat in the clubhouse but £2.80 for two pots of tea was excellent value.

Fairly straight forward front night and very interesting back 9! Quite tough in places. Very enjoyable with a bar that serves great food when open.

Enjoyed our round bit frustrating trying to find the next tee box as except for the 9th there's no indication as to where they are

Dean Wood is an established course with two contrasting 9's .The 1st9 is mature tree lined parkland course with undulating fairways with fairway bunkers. The 2nd9 is completely different basically 9 holes in a valley but not exhausting walk. Which I found a challenge. Lateral streams & not a flat piece of ground. Therefore course management comes into play? Greens were good & ran true. Fairways were in good condition as well.With driving nets & practise putting chipping greens. Good Club house & Pro Shop with friendly staff. Overall a very good course will definitely play again and worth a visit

I was invited to play as a guest of a member I know. The course was in fine condition and as it was my first time playing there I was surprised after completing the front nine how tricky the back nine holes were! A great challenge and hoping to get another invite before the weather turns.

Not a golfer so I can't attest to the course itself, but I attended a concert held in the function room, and was impressed by the high standard of facilities.The clean and pleasant clubhouse hosts a large function room with bar, and I was delighted to discover, good acoustics. Staff were uniformly courteous and efficient.Accessibility was good, with ample parking, a ramp as well as steps to the clubhouse level, and level access to the building.Still no plans to take up golf, but looking forward to attending other events being held at the club over the coming year.

Superb course and not a bad little club house.

Front 9 fantastic but you must score well coz the back nine is sooooo tough, saying that it's very picturesque.Greens immaculate.You must play this golf course it a gem .
