Airthrey Loch
Pretty little loch located on the University of Stirling campus. Paved and gravel paths around the loch edge with views of the campus and landscape. The gravel paths can be a little rough, with stones and tree roots. Vehicle parking nearby in campus carpark. The University of Stirling Parkrun meets here on Saturday mornings at 9:30am.

Nice place for a leisurely walk. Has lots of swans and ducks that love a bit of bread. Have seen Deer, rabbits and squirrels there. Don't let your dogs drink from the water if you are taking your pooch there for a walk as there is some blue algae in the water at certain parts, that had signage up as being poisonous. If you are walking in the evening you will need to take a torch with you as it not lit.

The lake is an absolute gem, with crystal clear waters, surrounded by lush greenery and scenic trails. The peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty of the lake make it the perfect spot to unwind, relax and enjoy nature. I also appreciate the university's efforts to maintain the lake's cleanliness and preserve its ecosystem. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this lake to anyone looking for a serene and picturesque outdoor experience.
