I had the hot steak on focaccia bread today and it was really tasty. Almost too big, but sure it's not often you say that. I love my beef, and the bear behind the counter was generous with the portions. He even made me a wee salad to go with on the side. Impressed.

I strolled by this place today by chance after arriving from London.It looks just like a butchers from the outside, but there is a deli with a few tables and chairs inside. The staff were courteous and said that if something on the menu wasn't for me they could fix me something with whatever ingredients I liked. I'm not too fond of beef, which seem to be the main specials, but they also had Christmas sandwiches, toasties, melts. If beef brisket is your thing you'll be in heaven.I opted for a sandwich with brie, ham, onion relish, and cranberry sauce and it was delicious. The ingredients were quality. I'm guessing having a butchery on site means your meat is as fresh as can be. The man behind the counter was also made me a small salad, and included it with the sandwich, which I appreciated.Overall would recommend. The combination of generous customer service and tasty food is a winner. I'm strongly thinking about going back tomorrow!

Had a ridiculous Christmas sandwich. It was massive. Delicious too, the stuffing is out of this world.

Bought some meat in here today, smells rank like its off it all went in the bin, disappointing i had high hopes very noticable sour pungent smell

Had a small problem with a sell by date on items purchased, it was dealt with professionally and we were more than compensated, with far more than originally purchased.

Very tasty lunch. The place was very packed, and seems popular. I was lucky enough to get two sandwiches for the price of one. I'll definitely be calling back.

Beautiful sandwiches, glad the deli is back open. I got the club, but asked for it not toasted and with extra salad. The only suggestion I'd make would be artesan coffee to go with the artesan sandwiches, but I'm a coffee snob. It was perfectly drinkable. I liked lunch so much I bought some meat from the butchers to take home. My other half loved the beef sausages.
