Simon Hall was very highly recommended to me by an antique dealer, who said that they did deliveries for Robert Kime, a respected name in the industry. I therefore approached them after purchasing an oak tester bed from Christies; they gave me a reasonable quote, which I accepted; I also told them that I only had two months' free storage with Christies, after which I would be liable for charges. They never said that this would be an issue; they simply said they would be in touch to arrange a date for delivery, which I took to mean a date within that two month period. A month later I reminded them of our agreement, and I was told casually that the delivery wouldn't happen before January. It is extraordinary that a removals and delivery company could be so cavalier and indifferent to its clients' reasonable requirements, and a window of two months is perfectly reasonable. Only use this firm if time is no consequence.

I'd heard it before but never believed that moving house is one of the most stressful experiences - well it definitely is. However choosing Simon Hall Limited was a great decision and the service they provided was second to none.The staff are a credit to the company and on moving day were brilliant with nothing being too much trouble. Would fully recommend.

Our first contact with Simon was professional and very helpful. Yvette was excellent in helping everything to be agreed and put in place. Over the three days of packing and moving into storage, the team were so good and thoughtful in the way they carried out their task. We look forward to a smooth and efficient second leg when we move into our new home in a couple of weeks from now.

I had got a few quotes from removal companies but decided to go with Simon Hall removals as from the first moment of contact they were efficient, friendly and professional, and I felt confident that I could trust them to do the job. On the day of moving the removal men went above and beyond what I would have expected to ensure the move went smoothly. On such a hot day, and moving to the top floor, they worked tirelessly and with good humour when I'm sure others would have flagged. I would not hesitate to use this company again or recommend to others.

The service from Simon Hall was first class from start to finish. This was one part of the moving process that was really enjoyable. The team that helped pack was very efficient and friendly. We went into store and then 4 weeks later our belongings arrived in tip top condition with another very friendly team who took great care unloading and putting stuff exactly where we wanted. Would recommend to all.

Simon Hall were professional and efficient. It was a complicated move and the schedule was tight, but they assessed how many vehicles were required, turned up bang on time, moved all our kit and delivered it 200 miles away the next day. They used the same removal people for the collection and the delivery, so we built a friendly rapport with them, which is helpful especially when fatigue sets in at the end of the day. Despite drinking us out of coffee, or maybe because of, they took great care of our belongings with only very minor items broken (a small plant pot). Paddy, the team leader, was pleasant to work with and kept his crew working hard. Would fully recommend them.

I was recommended Simon Hall Limited as a reputable and reliable removal company by a close friend. Their service was second to none. From the moment I spoke to Yvette who guided me through the process to the day the team arrived I felt that I was in very capable and professional hands. There were a few issues to resolve on the day but they were dealt with calmly and efficiently. These guys really did remove much of the stress factor out of moving and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
