Absolutely fuming. Paid £10 deposit for a cockeral for Xmas. Was told it won't cost more than £20. Come to pick up and it's cost £51. Won't buy from there ever again.

I have always had my meat delivered to my home. I cannot fault all the staff. They are really helpful, polite and know their stuff!!!The meat I have delivered ranges from chicken, beef, sauages, bacon, kebab sticks, minced beef, beefburgers, double yolk eggs, ham etc. I can honestly say the meat is sublime, the best ever our family have eaten. We will not buy our meat from anywhere else anymore, as you truly cannot beat the quality of this meat, eggs, etc from Greedy Pigs. Wonderful eggs, the best taeting ever. And, you know where your meat comes from. Excellent produce and excellent helpful, friendly staff. What else can you ask for?Truly, the best butcher from afar.

Delicious, fresh meat! We love the chilli & lime sausages, pork sausages, tikka kebabs, lamb koftas! We’ve been twice in the last couple of weeks and I think it will be our new tradition every Sunday to come and get meat for the week! Delicious.

Absolutely amazing. It's not my local butchers but it is my parents local. At the beginning of lockdown my mum mentioned to him in passing that I was struggling to get a few things for me and my daughter. Next time she went in he gave her some tins, bread and toilet roll to pass on to me to make sure I wasnt struggling.He always has a chocolate bar ready for my 2 year old when she goes in and goes so far above and beyond what anybody could expect.The meat is excellent quality and the customer service is outstanding.

Just want to say a huge thank you to this butchers for providing me with freshly cut marrowbones for my dog who has so many allergies and food intolerances.I purchased bones from another reputable local butchers where the bones were bagged in the back and brought out to me. They refused to cut the bones down saying it was too difficult and when I arrived home I went to get the bones out of the bag and could see they were old, mouldy and discoloured and they didn’t smell great either. Mould is one of my dogs allergens and I dread to think the effect those bones would have had on my boy. The bones I purchased from Greedy Pig are fresh and pink. I wish I could add the photos of the other bones and the ones from Greedy pig’s to show the difference. Thank you so much for saving me the last lot of bones and being open and honest and for being so considerate towards me and my boy.

Visited your shop at Denby and brought some of your smoked bacon , the flavour is out of this world its fantastic, I will be back for more.

Excellent butchers, they make some fantastic sausages great prices.
