Bit confusing to whether you have to wait to be seated or not as it looks like a pub but it's also a restaurant, and they still have all the COVID hand sanitizer stations. The fish and chips were nice though.

Such friendly, helpful and accommodating staff! Made for a really lovely experience!! And food was top notch to boot!! The only sad thing for me is it isn’t closer! But would def travel to come here again!

The dream London pub - My friend and I went here to catch up over a summer drink and a bit of dinner and we were both so impressed!The Woodman has loads of indoor and outdoor seating including a summer marquee and a covered terrace area in their pub garden so it's ideal for summer evenings.Everything from the wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to the incredibly friendly, attentive and polite service and the very tasty food (we had the blackened salmon and grilled prawns as well as some super delicious warm flat bread and olives to start) made it a 5* experience.It's also really good for groups and the table next to us brought their bikes (bicycles) and were easily able to park them along the side fence/by the tables.Highly recommended 10/10 we'll definitely be coming back very soon!

I wasn't going to give a review but still don't understand the strange behavior of one of the waitresses middle aged with long loose hair where the rest of the young staff were fine and friendly first she only spoke to my partner ignoring me then when we ordered two lobsters she suggested we don't have to order two I wonder why she said that, was she implying we couldn't afford it? I got the impression that she was trying to show that she was from a higher society than us, although her appearance did not prove it at all. The pub looks very nice inside and the food was very tasty although the tables outside were very sticky.

Had an amazing experience at the woodman. The Shepherds Pie with mature cheddar on top was simply divine. Friendly staff and quick turn around for food. Would defiantly visit here again with the misses.

Large pub with outdoor, covered outdoor and indoor seating. We stopped by for lunch. Service was good, we were seated quickly and the server was attentive and friendly. For a Saturday lunchtime they seemed quiet to me. Their was a seafood menu as well as a regular menu. The food was good and prices not bad for London.

Gave me food poisoning, spoke with them over the phone and they offered me a refund if I came in in person. Later went in person and sat down with the owner - he was almost comically unsympathetic, and basically told me to get out. What a tremendous experience, will never go back..

Poor service!waited on the table for nearly half an hour and no one came to take our order . I had to grab one of the waitresses there to ask if somebody is going to take our order or go to the bar ourselves.She confirmed that she can take our order for us..After a couple of beers,we wanted to order some food and seeing this board outside,we asked two of the waitresses to confirm that they have the happy hour between 8pm and 10pm on Sunday..They both said no…I’m asking you,guys..what do you think about all this?They should close the pub down if they know what they are selling,what they advertising and how to treat their customers!
