Visited here beginning of October for Sunday lunch. It was not very enjoyable at all, the presentation very poor as though everything was put on the plate and a big Yorkshire pudding on top. It was not very warm, Roast Potatoes not good, cauliflower cheese awful, the meat was fatty too. Quite expensive too. Service not great waiting ages for pudding too. I would probably say not one of the best places I have been to for a Sunday lunch.

I think I frightened the staff when I entered saying, wow, in a very thespian manner and I don't think they quite knew how to deal with an eccentric Englishman. However, the staff recovered their composure and resumed with absolute professionalism to provide excellent service.More importantly, I said, Wow

Thank you to everybody at the Bridge Inn for making our visit perfect. The staff are all very welcoming and cannot do enough for you. I have to mention the food. Amazing I enjoyed the Prawns Pilpil to start and the sirloin steak as a main. The steak was the best I have had. Family joined us for there 40th wedding anniversary. Could not asked for more. Will definitely visit again and will recommend The Bridge Inn to my friends and fellow boaters.

Beautiful pub with excellent views of the countryside as well as the canal that runs by the beer garden.Food is very tasty, but the menu was somewhat limited during my visit, with a mumber of things sold out.Nevertheless, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make conversation and help out. Will definitely be coming again.

Excellent free house pub with solid and well prepared food. All the favourites but with a modern twist. Try the ice creams in a tea cup!

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday. Only 2 choices available both a roast. Delightful garden but in need of repair. Food looked lovely but was very over cooked and dripping in fat. For £15 per meal very disappointing.

Really good vegan food, beautiful pub garden and friendly staff. Free roaming chickens in the garden, bordering the canal, dog friendly. Recommend for a quick drink, visiting with friends and family and a big night out.

Had lunch here as a weekday treat in good weather. It was ok. Sadly first drink offered in a filthy glass. Quickly replaced once pointed out but no apology given. Next glass also far from clean so drink taken straight from the bottle. Food was slow to arrive but it was hot. Chips a little too well cooked. Ham was nice. Chicken burger was said to be ok but chips suffered similar fate. Why is it acceptable to allow cigarette butts to be left in water next to the entrance that food and customers come out of? Gives a spit and sawdust impression. Staff were pleasant.
