Porthcawl Surf School

My first visit..Lovely relaxing Cafe , the food, price wise its at the high end of what you pay in a cafe. Breakfast Dinner and evening meals check before going being in these covid times as it says 9am to 9pm was gonna check on the way out but forgot..They sell alcohol also.And them Lovely cakes was amazing tbh, and food was lovely what my daughter had, but I'm not sure i like the oil the chips are cooked in we all have different tastes, I felt they needed a little longer to cook but do taste nice to be fair, could've been a bit more warmer the chips, but my daughter seems to like them.Staff are lovely and friendly, defo go back again and have a meal next time, the food coming out did look very lovely..Oh and Lovely sea views as you can see .

My children and I often come here and the customer service is exceptional! I didn’t get the name of the guy in the board hire shop but he is extremely helpful, friendly, and makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant. We had an hour's surf lesson followed by an hour or so in the water. Hugh and Logan were exceptional at teaching us the basics and getting to know our names. All equipment was fine and a hot shower was available afterwards. Thank you for a great day.

I was on the one month beginner course. Really enjoyed it, Emma was a great teacher and really encouraging. Olly was great too. I went in with very low confidence and was really happy with my progress by the end of the four weeks. Would definitely recommend

Was given the wrong size board despite stating my weight, but children loved the day. Would definitely return but would insist on a weight appropriate board second time around. Staff were friendly and otherwise helpful. Price is excellent and encourages sport in South Wales.

Couldn’t recommend more. I’ve rented a board from them several times, great for both beginner and improver boards. Very well priced, and the staff are always extremely helpful and friendly. My family went took the surfing lessons for children and it was a highlight of their summer!

I did a beginners surf course. It was an amazing experience. The instructor was very good and friendly. All in all a lovely surf school. Amazing location.

Very thorough, helpful and great fun. Providing all equipment needed. Emma was a Great tutor, very encouraging and positive and very hands on.
