Highlands Surgery

Recently accepted as a new patient ....had more done in 4 weeks than last 5 years at previous practice!! Everyone has been professional and thorough.

Recently moved to the area and I have found everyone I've encountered here to be approachable, polite, professional and with a genuine desire to help. Wait times aren't that long really in comparison to last county. There are options if genuine medical emergency or clinically urgent. Reception was brilliant at getting an appt when I really needed one. Nowadays, With so many patients on the books, there are long wait times at every GP surgery and hospital in the country. I'm happy to have found such a lovely surgery.

I would like to say that my last 2/3 contacts with Dr Boyce have been very good consultations. I wish her a happy time with her new baby. I do hope she will return to seeing patients at Highlands Surgery as soon as possible.

I have only just joined this surgery, but everything from signing up online, to getting a next day appointment to see the nurse for an initial check-up, everything was easy and the staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Highlands Surgery is the best, that is why I have ensured that when I move in the very near future I am within their boundary so as I can keep them as my doctors and nurses. I have complete faith in all of them. It is easy to book an appointment, I do mine online, order prescriptions and if you are in real trouble or need advice or help the receptionists are very efficient and go out of their way to help. I am 87 and feel safe in their hands. I think they are all stars in my opinion as previously I have had really bad experiences at other surgeries.

Booking system needs sorting out.No doctor available for 7 days.Went down in person they said I'd have to phone for an appointment.Been on the phone for 100 minutes and still waiting.Now that I have seen an excellent doctor I am amending my review. I have been looked after thoroughly and with care, thankyou.

New to the surgery, every experience I've had has been amazing.The different groups I've had dealings with already and have been treated with compassion by;- prescriptions Clark- receptionists at both branches- Dr O & Highlands seperate branchI'm a very anxious person; the nurse was lovely during my new patient appointment and made me feel comfortable. The reception staff too,I had to have a doctor's appointment today and for what would normally be quite traumatic for me the doctor at the seperate Highlands branch was very friendly, chirpy and made me feel at ease, which is a great quality to have when you're dealing with people who aren't very well.Unsure if the negative reviews are from a long time ago, because they can't do enough for you, and I know nobody here personally, I'm new to the area

We’ve recently registered with the surgery and we were impressed with the level of service so far. It was easy to book an appointment, the stuff was respectful and accommodating to our wishes.

This used to be a brilliant surgery but in the last couple of years I had some not very pleasant experiences. However my last 3 visits were very professional. Polite and efficient receptionist and very helpful and caring doctors. Doctor H Boyce,Dr Chioma Duru and Dr Sanjiv Yogarajah needs to be mentioned .Thank you so much !

This gets a 1 star review because how they can run out of flu vaccine for a 3 year old is amazing and shocking.still waiting.
