Delighted with our kitchenFrom the very first phone enquire with Phil Harrison to see if they could design and fit our kitchen, to the day our kitchen was finished I have nothing but praise.The team went out of their way to ensure we were happy with the design, choice of colours and were accommodating with dates that suited our timeframe.The attention to detail, the respect for our newly decorated kitchen and newly installed tiled floors was second to none.I wasn’t looking forward to the whole installation of the kitchen. Ant & Pete the fitters at Harrison & Pope went above and beyond to ensure we were happy at every stage of the installation.We look forward to enjoying many years in our magnificent kitchen.

We needed a kitchen for our brand new barn conversion, to be used initially as a holiday let, but potentially would be lived in by family into the future. We therefore wanted something that would stand the test of time, but would be easy to keep clean and not become outdated. From the first time I met Phil at the H&P showroom in Hay, his attention to detail, practical suggestions, and creative input were spot on. It wasn't easy designing a kitchen for a space that was still at the construction stage but everything worked seamlessly. The quality of workmanship, the fitting team, and the back up support from the office team have all been outstanding. The kitchen is everything we had hoped for and more: classic design, custom made, and with a contemporary feel. I particularly found it helpful that Phil was able to offer advice on getting the best types of kitchen appliances for a holiday let, and source them for us.

We love our new kitchen as much as we hoped we would.We chose H&P not only for the craftsmanship they are well known for but also because Phil and Louise obviously use kitchens themselves and know what will really work in the space available. Clever design tweaks such as a cupboard with a bifold door have made a huge difference.The tradesmen who worked on the project all took pride in their work, were straightforward to deal with and worked well together as a team to achieve the end result.

The professional advice and guidance along the way were invaluable, and the home visits key to getting the final design just right. We utterly love our new H&P kitchen! It’s been said by other reviewers, but I’ll repeat it here – from our first tentative phone call enquiry to the completion of our wonderful kitchen, the team from H&P couldn’t have been more approachable, helpful, imaginative and meticulous. We had a very old, tired, cluttered, dark kitchen, with a particularly tricky layout, which has been transformed into a light, spacious, beautifully ergonomic and visually gorgeous room, where we now seem to spend the majority of our time. It was striking that Phil’s brilliant design was so different from anything we, or anyone else who we had asked, had come near to.And having dreaded the whole business of getting a new kitchen, the reality was a very pleasant relief. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, from tweaking the original design as the project progressed, to spending hours helping get the colours just right, followed by all of the painstaking attention to detail in the actual fitting. The whole team were great to work with – inspiring, enthusiastic, calming and reassuring by turn as the whole process rolled out. I am so glad that we made that original phone call and can’t recommend H&P strongly enough!

Harrison & Pope were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, from a warm and helpful initial call and enjoyable design discussions in their lovely showroom to an excellent installation. Lou and Phil have over three decades of experience in making kitchens and it really shows; they are so knowledgeable, so professional and so committed to creating a bespoke kitchen that perfectly suits their clients. We have an awkward L-shaped room but the design came together perfectly and every cabinet was carefully detailed to produce a cohesive effect with maximum ergonomics and fully utilised space. Good communication was consistent throughout all stages of the project and then it was all fitted with meticulous care by Ant and Pete, who could not have been more skilled, attentive or courteous. We had a really great experience with the whole team and are thrilled with our beautiful new kitchen - definitely the heart of the home and much admired by everyone who visits. Thank you, team H&P!

Harrison & Pope were approachable, friendly and very professional, right from our first meeting in their showroom to the final sign-off after installation. We were able to have a significant input into the design, always relying on their ability to create the kitchen that we had envisaged. That’s what you get when you employ a creative firm with a personal touch.

Our kitchen was re-done by H&P in Winter 2018. We absolutely love it and cannot fault the professionalism of all of the H&P staff and the quality of the workmanship. The attention to detail, tasteful design and finish of the units is second to none. I can honestly say it was a pleasure having their team in our house and that is something I NEVER thought I would say when completely gutting and re-doing a large kitchen!I met many of the staff during the process from the construction people in the background, the helpful fitters who went above and beyond, and the management team. All of whom were helpful, polite and a pleasure to liaise with. If you are looking at re-doing your kitchen I would highly recommend Harrison and Pope.

A great outfit to work with from design ideas to standard of craftsmanship, through to fitting. We have the kitchen we had hoped for and are very happy with it!
