There was much talk about Enish and so I visited one of my trips to London. The service we received was good. The staff seemed tired. The atmosphere wasn't great. The music was too loud. One could hardly hear oneself in conversation. We were seated by the door and appreciated the cool breeze that came in everytime the door would open. It was refreshing as the restaurant was quite packed and stuffy. The cocktail was not authentic. Seemed more like syrup and plenty of ice. Seriously overpriced cocktails and wines. The food was tasty which I enjoyed. The portion size was good too. We had to take a go to bag for the leftovers.Probably the best ayamase I've had.I would recommend you add ofada rice to the menu.I wouldn't go back albeit the tasty food. I can make and have this at home.

I had missed home, or should I say the taste of home. The ambience of home, and Enish gave me that again. It felt like going to one of the great restaurants in Lagos. Eating good food. Listening to great music, and seeing people like you, while at it. I went when we were really few there. So service was excellent.

Delicious african food for anyone's taste buds. Visited with my family to celebrate my nephew's Bday. It was fun. Staff gave cooperative, good helpful customer service. We had to take our 'leftovers' home, for sure. The restaurant has two floors that we noticed - not sure if there were others. The ground floor where we were was packed, buzzing, good vibe. I've never been to restaurant before and was doubtful of service but was surprised that I enjoyed myself: no complaint at all. It was nice to see other nationalities enjoying some good African food of all sorts. Welldone Enish owner and staff at Oxford Street branch.

The prices were extraordinarily high (£14 for a pint of lager!! and no mains for less than £26). The goat had good flavour but every piece was mostly gristly and fatty parts. The chicken was OK. The plantains were excellent, and I liked the Jollof rice - it was nice and spicy. I couldn't recommend this restaurant, it's way, way too expensive and the meats not prepared to our liking.

Central London location, Great ambience. Broad menu list. The food is Good and better still, the presentation is amazing. Add friendly and helpful staff. You get a great experience. My only gripe? The music sound output is underwhelming! All the above effort deserves a better speaker output! An amplifier or a better speaker will project the atmosphere better. Or is it just the audiophile in me?

As with most Nigerian restaurants, the portions were incredibly generous. Food quality was top notch, even if it took almost 2 hours in between starter and the main. What we wanted was unavailable and so we had to make do - no big deal but when the starter finally arrived, it was pretty obvious staff either weren’t trained in delivering food to the customer with finesse given how haphazardly food was plunked on our table without so much as a backward glance. Kudos to the lad waiting on us who tried to keep us abreast of how long food was going to be.Please improve on your customer service skills and waiting times.

I had the ‘Enish Experience’. I went with a group of family and friends which means we got to try different dishes. I’m not exaggerating when I say every single dish was a hit! If you’re looking for a proper Nigerian restaurant in London with variety dishes, I highly recommend Enish. These are the dishes we tried:- Fried yam and sauce- Assorted goat meat pepper soup- Asun- Beans and plantain- Okro soup and pounded yam- Yam porridge- Sea food platterThey also have a private room that you can book for events. The only thing that could be improved here is music. We had to play our own music in the private room and they didn’t have proper speakers.

Great very central addition to the Enish chain of Nigerian restaurants.Went for dinner, was lucky enough to get a table for 2 as a walk-in during the week. Did not book in advance as the 50£ deposit is not refundable even for advance cancellations. Only rebookings are accepted, which I was not very fond of.Service is certainly not the best I've ever experienced but the food was amazing. Had the moi moi for starter and seafood efo riro with pounded yam. Portions were very sizeable, enough for 3 people. Really enjoyed the meal, will definitely come back :)

Absolutely delicious food! It was my first time trying Nigerian food and I have to say it was pure class. This was probably the best beef I had in my life. Jollof rice - everyone’s favorite meal was phenomenal here.If I were to add anything negative I would definitely mention the prices. The food was really expensive, I paid £73 for two people.

If you like dried, unseasoned chicken bones that show up 40 mins after ordering at £20+ then this is the place for you! I went here with a bunch of friends for Dinner and after being sat were told they didn't have jollof or the subsequent three things I wanted we settled with dried chicken bones and a bowl of what I would argue is worse than the microwavable Morrison rice packs. The fact that this cost £60 for two people is all the more reason to not come here. The food is about Nigerian as Jackie Chan.
