Visited the York store with my husband and then my daughter to make a final decision on my Mother of the Groom outfit. Kate and Sam were exceptional assistants who definitely went the extra mile to find the perfect outfit.

My Mum and I booked an appointment at Hobbs York a couple of weeks ago, so that we could view some certain dresses for Mother of the Bride. We were warmly met by Sam who had everything in place for our arrival. The service Sam provided was outstanding! She gave honest, valuable feedback which made my Mum feel so relaxed and comfortable. We had Sam’s full attention for 2 hours, which demonstrates how patient and invested in us she was. We would throughly recommend a pre-booked appointment at Hobbs York for a special occasion dress!Thank you SO much Sam!

Fantastic selection of dresses! Bought a dress for my son’s wedding and couldn’t find a jacket to match. Shiona managed to find one in another store and had it sent out to my home address as we don’t live locally. Really excellent service.

Absolutely fantastic service by the two lovely ladies who helped me in the York Hobbs store, Liz and Sam. I can not praise them enough, they went out of their way to help me with my purchases and offer their help. They were so friendly and it was a delight to shop their. I will definitely return to this store as they offer great customer care and genuinely care about their customers. Liz and Sam you are a credit to the store and you made my day . It is so rare to have staff that care so much in today’s society. Well done Hobbs!!

Superb service from the very friendly sales staff.Helped with finding sizes, opinions and taking items to the fitting room.The whole experience made us feel welcome and able to browse and choose with ease.A great choice of the Hobbs range in store which is very spacious.Anice comfy sofa for me to sit and relax whilst my wife tried on her choices.At the till the purchase was folded neatly and wrapped in tissue paper to keep it tidy and bagged gently even though it was a sale purchase.An engaging chat at the till made it a great bit of shopping.Well done.
