JDRM Dental Care Westcotes

I'm registered here and can't say I've ever had an issue with this dentist until today. My partner had an appointment with the dentist, he's never had to go to the dentist before so wasn't aware of all the rules/policies. They refused to speak to me as according to them he's an adult, I was only trying to get him registered and an appointment due to the pain he's having. He spoke with the staff 2 days ago when they finally answered their phone and they took his details and booked him in for an appointment today. Unfortunately he was running late as we have a small child who had a little accident so as a parent you do what's needed for your child. I rang and rang and rang but no answer, I then sent an email to say that he was running late but on the way. I received a generic response back saying according to their no attend policy the dentist won't see him if more than 5 minutes late, that's absolutely fair enough however what I found unfair is the fact that I've made numerous attempts to contact the surgery to say he's late and ever emailed as proof and they have refused to register him. He is in pain and had the staff probed when he was on the phone they would have known this but they instead booked him a new patient exam which he didn't even know it was. After the service, I'm considering moving myself and other family member.

It was Sunday and I was not expecting such service to be available at all to be fair and the level of care and quality and concern they had for me was unreal. I forgot good people exist and it was nice to finally feel comfortable around these particular nurses at westcotes branch. Thank you Iqra, Jacki and Rachael. I would recommend anybody and everyone to this practice.

Have had a really lovely experience with this dentistry each time I go. The dentist always explains all my options for treatment so that I can decide the best thing for me to do.

called these guys on a whim this morning after being in agony with my tooth. (not registered to them) got me in instantly with an emergency appointment. very polite friendly staff and most importantly now pain free.thanks guys. life savers <3

I had a very bad experience. My 9 year old son had to get his tooth out by Huraira Manner due to a cavity. And my son was crying so much and the dentist didn't let him have a rest or stop for a bit while taking his tooth out. Me and my daughter had water tearing up in our eyes after seeing him cry so much and the dentist not making him comfortable. When he took the tooth out it flung on the floor as if doing the whole process roughly and carelessly. As I said before he is a 9 year old son not some adult. After the whole process was finished when the dentist gave some tissue instead of passing it he threw it on my son and same for a sticker. I was horrified after seeing his ridiculous behaviour.Have some manners and treat your patients with respect. I do not recommend this place.

Worst dentist I’ve been to. I was thankful to get booked in for a quick appointment after having difficulty eating with an infected impacted wisdom tooth.The dentist didn’t bother to ask about swelling, bleeding or any red flags symptoms. In fact, he asked me one question “which tooth hurts?”. They didn’t take any sort of history or get any background info. He was 20 minutes late getting to the practice and rushed me out the room after 2 minutes. Another dentist focused on the money and not the patient.£35 to be asked one question and given some mouthwash. Not a bad rate for 5 minutes work.On the plus side, the receptionists were lovely. It’s a shame they aren’t working at a better practice!

Booked an emergency appointment this morning I'm so grateful that they got me in , I'm petrified of dentists which is the reason I had to have an emergency appointment at this dentist. The reception staff are amazing and very friendly. But I went for an extraction due to a very painful tooth I had the anaesthetic, one little bit either side of the tooth previously I've had three jabs both sides of the tooth, and told the dentist that I could still feel my tooth , he didn't check like dentist normally do to see if it was numb and he pulled it out anyway , should have given me more anaesthetic, I've never felt pain like it and he didn't stop at all. Even though I was crying out in pain.I've been to two other JDRM emergency dentist before and they were amazing , but this was a very bad experience. Was also told twice that it costs £25.80 for an extraction, but it cost me £66.70 .

Receptionist 5 stars but apart from that I was not impressed at all.i was in and out in approx 2 minutes and had no confidence in the dentist.even the receptionist was shocked how quickly i was dealt wiyj.Basically I felt like he had ticked the I saw an NHS emergency patient box" but was more interested in me signing up to one of his private "plans" obviously when you are in acute pain the only thing on your mind is getting that pain sorted .clearly he just wanted to get another private patient on his books and when I wasn't interested wanted me gone.Oh and as you will see the copy and paste response is always as below."Dear patient
