This place doesn't try and be anything else than what it is. Cheap food, cheap drinks not bad service. Can order on the app, pitchers and cocktails are good price and tasty. Staff friendly and some even photobomb. Toilets are clean. Good atmosphere, fun people.

Used to be our (my colleague) favourite place to lunch. Used to go there every week. But recent visits have been very disappointing with food quality going down. My recent order for a burger was the last straw.

I dont even really know where to start with this.My partner and myself went here for a meal b4 we went on to the theatre.Meals ordered myself steak and kidney pudding with chips gravy and peas.As for my partner a 5 bean chilli. What could go wrong right.Well my meal came out if thats what you can call it dry peas a small handful of chips that looked lile they had just bern thrown on there .pudding a bit dry but thought gravy could save that how wrong i was about that the gravy would not pour and as for lump never seen anything like it.Sent gravy back only to be presented with another just as bad gravy for gods sake its not rocket science.Manager came over and did give a apology for the gravy saying thats how its coming in the way i look at it if there's a problem dont serve it.Right now onto partners meal all looked good until she found a piece of plastic in it was sent back and fresh meal brought out and thats very debatable as well as the rice was dry with a big lump all stuck togethet that you couldn't even cut through and as for chilli portion i would serve my child more then she recieved.Dont think will visiting again they have a lot of work to do here and this was not even the busy time.Ps other customers where complaining at the portion sizes as well for the prices that where being paid

Generally speaking it's okay for fast and cheap food. Definitely feeling tummy for good amount of money

The beers cheap and it harks back to the days when people could afford to drink in pubs. I ordered a bowl of cheesy chips which frankly was tasteless and soggy. The beer was better fortunately. Staff were fine. Lacks atmosphere, should take a look at its sister pub in stowmarket (the willow).

Really lovely atmosphere. The food was great with a nice choice.Staff were quick and friendly.Drinks were a good price, too.The only problem I could find is that the toilets are upstairs and a bit of a trek after a few beverages

Great beer at supermarket prices, served by very friendly bar staff. Made memorable when asked my favourite Christmas song, which I later replied Fairy Tale New York prompted a little banter and tragically learned the next day Shane had passed. A truly unique talent enjoyed so many of his performances.

I thought Wetherspoons had completely gone from Ipswich after the one on the cornhill had shut it's doors a long time ago. I nipped in this evening as my work had recently moved into that part of town and I was in need of a spot of dinner. Once the blue plate came out I thought to myself No! Could it be?" and upon scanning the menu I saw that it was indeed a Wetherspoons branch and was chuffed to bits to realise that I could finally start eating here again as I loved going to the other place before it shut. AND it's just over the road from our new location! Win
