The best thing we ever did in our house buying journey was to get a New Build Snagging Survey done by Lively Professional Services. Mark was absolutely amazing and went from room to room, indoor and outdoor, top to bottom systematically. His level of detail was astounding. Over 180 issues later (some minor some major) it provided us with enough to approach the developers (local firm) with as they were pushing us to exchange and complete far too soon. The feedback from the developers was enough to confirm that proceeding with the purchase would be a HUGE mistake. Don't hesitate to use their services for your own future home! Ian was very efficient in identifying the snags in our new home, explaining the report clearly which has been really helpful to us in following up with the company. He also gave us some very helpful advice about the process afterwards, things we would never have known to do or look for if we hadn't used his services, and offered to go over anything at a later date should we need it. Booked Ian to come and snag my new build. Although the general standard of my new home turned out to be very good he found 36 issues that needed to be addressed. I had only noticed 3 of them!I found Ian to be friendly also and highly recommend booking his services........it'll be money well spent !
