I bought a skoda fabia from here, and within 1 month the electrics stopped working on passenger window and both wing mirrors, also handbrake failed on a small hill. Be aware when buying!It was my first time buying a car and I didn't check it over enough, but to be honest the car shouldn't of been sold to me from a so called forecourt company when it wasn't safe.Also I was told it had 1 owner from new but when I got home and looked through the paperwork properly it had 2 previous owners.My advice would be to give me place a pass and spent your money elsewhere.If you do decide to go here proceed with caution

Paid the asking price for vehicle 4295.00 service light on vehicle when driven off forcourt, told it was forgotten to be turned off by garage when given a oil and filter change, drove straight to garage and they turned it off, next morning light back on, back to the garage in Caerphilly I go, I live in Cardiff they tell me found a fault, need to take car into garage for couple of days I ask for replacement they tell me to speak to owner Tariq, 3 days later eventually speak to owner Tariq, who tells me can't help with a courtesy car, then 5 days later I call again, he's sorted me another garage in Cardiff, next day I got hole in tyre, not there fault, I get it recovered to tyre place turns out I have 5 psa in 1 in another 10 and 12 in the 3rd, so much for the 50 point check, I haven't had 3 days of happy motoring without this service light coming on, after numerous trips back and forth garage long story cut short 5th week in to ownership of vehicle including the 5 days it was in garage being repaired the engine blew on the motorway, I had the car recovered to garage via breakdown, the engineer that turned up said the engine had a severe fault/faults.I called evolution cars the following morning as this happened on the previous Sunday night, I told them I did not want the vehicle anymore as I had no confidence in it, the guy Steve screamed at me he had paid 450.00 for a repair and then put the phone down.I have had no vehicle for nearly 4 weeks the vehicle is still at the garage they have neither phoned or written to me it was recovered to there affiliated garage by the way, They will not accept return of the vehicle. I am a working single parent I am getting buses to work and walking my children back from childcare at 6-6.30 each evening, I bought a car via finance because I wanted something better than a banger which I could only afford via saving a few months of part of my wage I wanted something reliable and nice the irony is my old car is still going with the person I sold it to for 200 quid where as I have a 4300 pound debt with no reliable car.When I say this company are a nightmare it's an understatement.Please for your sake get any vehicle checked by a mechanic before making any purchase.

Bought a mondeo off these rip off artists nothing but problems with it as soon as I drove off the forecourt.Passenger door wouldn’t open,Wiper washer dead,Wipers only worked on one setting,Dead battery after 2 days, Faulty blower motor.Rear brake calipers started rattling after a week of driving. The list goes on and on. Stay well away from this car dealer!

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt or bought anything from. Their customer service is rubbish, the girl at their Cardiff office is clueless and knows nothing. I bought a Toyota Auris from them which had 1 month warranty, after 4 days the engine light comes on, 3 months later and the issue still exists.please please stay away from this rogue company as I had a nightmare of an experience with them and they are so unprofessional, the owner Tariq promised to fix the issues with the car but he never delivered. They even broke my car keys when I gave them the car to fix only to be told they will send me a new set of keys which never happened.

Travelled 150miles to view and purchase this car. Defects were not told to me before I came or listed in the add. It was a Citroen C4 Picasso. Rear wiper wasn't working, drivers window wasn't working, pretty much every panel had damage to it, boot had been poorly repaired by one of their people, main display unit in the car was not working which meant radio and cd player didn't work. I drove it down the road and turbo was howling and the engine lights started flashing. Dodgy cars I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw them!

Bought this car in May last year, I have nothing but trouble with it ever since. I was told that there had been a new handle fitted on the passenger side as it was coming off! a couple of months passed and the handle is coming off again, obviously not done properly! The keys do not work for the car to open doors and boot, I pointed this out when picking car up and they looked really surprised!!! They said if i take it to a garage to get it repaired they would reimburse cost, 7 months on and I am still waiting for the money?? The car was never serviced by them, even though they say all cars that are due a service would get one, mine must have missed the boat!!!!. I don't think this car was ever looked at by them at all, overall i am really disappointed with the service and the car and would not recommend them at all, even though they come across as friendly and helpful, this is just a front and typical salesman tactics.I have only had the car 7 months and I've had to have new handle fitted again, key locks sorted, battery, fan belt, service and exhaust sorted. Not good!!

I bought a car a few years back from this company. The experience was horrific and life threatening.Me and my partner were looking at a new (used) car and found a lovely red Mini Cooper with low mileage at this garage (trethomas). We went to view and test drive which ended up with us purchasing it. All seemed well and we were happy but I’d say the trouble started within the first week.The car developed really quickly a bad knocking from the suspension area. I asked for them to check over and I was hit with a wall of abuse and threats from the owner and Steve was less than polite, but only over the phone may I add. A part of the abuse was also a stab at the race card which not once was race bought in from my end but hey, may as well try as I might have backed down not wanting to be labelled a racist.As this went on my girlfriend was using the car and was about to join the m4 when I had a call with her crying as the break line had actually snapped! The car had literally just had a MOT by them. I had it immediately recovered by the AA and taken to my garage for repair where I found out the remaining 3 break lines were in a very poor state, the drop links were part of the knocking along with a suspension mount support being heavily corroded. My garages exact words were “the car was a death trap and should never have passed an MOT”. To backup this up I had the car inspected by BMW who issued a video and written report to the same effect. All reports were sent to Evolution Cars recorded delivery and signed for.Obviously I wasn’t happy so again confronted the owner, at the time Osman Yassin, who again was very unprofessional, abusive and threatening telling me I don’t know who I am dealing with.Numerous chances were given to resolve the problems so it ended up reporting him to trading standards and The MOT station to VOSA. Well that seemed to work. The owner actually agreed to fix/replace the break lines only providing I revoked my complaints to both government bodies. It turns out his family also owned the MOT station and the report to VOSA seemed to concern him massively!The faults or trouble didn’t end there and other things had happened including the exhaust snapping after it all. I ended up getting rid of the mini.Please for your safety do not use this company. They are dangerous and shouldn’t be trading

Diabolical service from the Cardiff branch 3 years ago. Several problems initially with the car we bought for a couple of grand. Air con broken, no fuse in charge socket and faulty spark plugs and boot release dash button didn't work. We had to battle to get them sorted. The then manager did all he could to avoid responsibility and we were forced to contact consumer rights for advice, plus send several letters, to which we received very snotty replies, clearly not wanting to sort anything. When they finally took responsibility, we were told they would put the car in a garage and get the issues fixed. We were without our car for over 10 days. On complaining about this we finally got offered a hire car, paid for by them but with a ridiculous waiver insurance fee that we had to pay daily. We were not updated on the car every few days, having to chase for info. When we did finally get through to said manager, he called my husband childish and impatient. This was following trying to explain that not updating us over a week was inconsiderate when we had explained our son with autism needed to know how much longer the car would be. Never ever had my husband been called childish before by a manager! Shocking service. Complaints went nowhere. We just took the car back and never looked back. The car had issues for 18 months, clearly had many things that needed doing. It's still going and been a good runner since sorting the issues ourselves. I wanted to tell the whole world at the time but life became busy with our son. Google has just asked me to leave a review, 3 years on so absolutely I have taken the opportunity while I can. My car will only last another year or so and already I am dreading looking for another second hand car after that experience! Any better places, let me know! As for this place, it could have improved but not if management is the same. I'd recommend taking a mechanic with you and checking things fully. Also get a full service history where possible and check warranties and what is covered first!

Bought a Nissan Juke a couple of weeks ago now, love it!. Went for a test drive and was made to feel very comfortable. I was offered help and advice with things they weren't obligated to do. Very happy with service and my car! Thank you! Would highly recommend.
