iStore Harrogate - Apple Authorised Service Provider

Came here just to have a look and find out the best options for a new iPhone & MacBook. Unfortunately we didn’t get his name but the man who served us was so helpful and unbelievably patient and lovely. He showed & talked us through all the best options and comparisons etc. I’m so glad we came here, and even ended up buying a phone!

As an Apple skeptic and having occasional issues with hardware, I first tried the Harrogate iStore due to its location being more convenient than Leeds. I have found Grant and his team to always provide realistic and timely solutions, reliable support and service for our Mac computers and related accessories. Very poor. My phone battery needed replacing (message from Apple) so I booked at the nearest Apple approved stockist as recommended. Traveled 24 miles each way. The store refused to replace my battery because I indicated I may have used a non Apple stockist to replace my cracked screen about 3 years ago. I was not given any indication when booking that anything like this would be a problem. I was not asked any questions about phone history. Waste of 50 miles of petrol , cat parking and half a day of my time. No matter how I asked they refused. Really poor service. Never use them again.

Incredibly rude and uninterested staff.I was the only person in the shop but the manager was too busy on his phone to help.“No one does those iPhone covers anymore” but it’s only 12 months old…” well they don’t do them any more” … and then he looked away..Well guess what … I paid £49 from a very helpful staff member in Leeds Apple Store….

Brought my phone in to get my charging port fixed. The gentlemen working were super helpful and lovely, and had everything fixed super quickly. Brilliant customer service . Thankyou Cesar for all your help ☺️

Went to the store to repair my daughter’s iPhone screen and finished up buying the new 16” MacBook Pro. The person who served me knew the product well - and gave me the confidence to do this upgrade at home from a Time Machine save. All went well and another superb product from Apple. Still came out with a broken screen on the phone though - going to decide on a possible new phone instead. I don’t know the name of the person serving me - but he was patient and very helpful.

Amazing service! I went into the Harrogate store yesterday to ask for some help with my MacBook Pro, which is having some software issues. Everyone in the store is really friendly and helpful. Especially Cezar, who went above and beyond to help me. He was so kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. I cannot thank him enough for the wonderful customer service!

A terrible service experience. I bought a brand-new iPhone 14 at the end of October 2023 for about £699. The selling part was great, no issues at all. However, after five attempts to use the iPhone Quick Set Up I returned to the store the following day to explain the iPhone Quick Set Up function wasn’t working and as I considered it to be an important function of the iPhone, I asked for a replacement. After all, if this function isn’t working, what else might not work. I was initially told my iPhone 8 plus was too old to use the use the iPhone Quick Set, which isn’t correct. After I explained that I had also tried several times on my wife’s iPhone XR, I was offered a refund of 80% of the value of the phone. I was told by the Apple employee that because I opened the box, I was only entitled to an 80% refund. Please note, this was the day after I bought the phone. Had I accepted the refunds I would have lost about £140. As I am fully aware of my consumer rights and as I don’t have the psychic ability to check if a phone is working without opening the box, I brought these issues the Apple employee’s attention and was told, it’s company policy. I persisted with my request for a replacement or a refund but ended up walking out of the shop after another other employees joined the conversation and started muttering swear words, such as “For F%&k sake”. I was irate when I left and this wasn’t because I didn’t get what I wanted, it was because it was like complaining to a automated machine that simply repeats “sorry I can’t help it’s company policy”, “it’s company policy”. It's now my policy to avoid Apple at all cost...

Similar poor experience to Chris. Wanted a straightforward battery replacement….£89… but they couldn’t guarantee returning my phone same day saying it depended on “ other damage” which would need new parts… more £££££ …. etc etc. Come on guys, I just wanted a new battery !!!
