The delivery lads were friendly and covered the carpets when moving the goods in. Very professional service throughout. I will be in touch for my next move. (In about 10 years) lol 5*****

This company recently delivered some furniture to my home in the south of France. A very helpful, pleasant team. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. I am very satisfied and recommend highly.

Appleyards were really great when at the last minute our removal date was changed and Marcus arranged another team. They were very efficient, pleasant and relaxed so making our finally arrived moving day go smoothly. Thank you all

Upon booking this company we were assured on more than one occasion that our full house would fit into the size of vehicle that they quoted, when the guys came to do the move they were slow and dragged their heels and kept stopping to make phone calls, after pushing to find out what the problem was we were finally told we were under quoted and were pressured into paying an additional £300 over the phone to the office to ensure the move could carry on and make sure all our belongings were taken - I will add at this point that it’s not even that they didn’t send a big enough van they were just unwilling to fill it without additional payment - we were then later asked if we would allow them to deliver our essentials then bring back the remaining belongings some 4 days later so they didn’t have to work until 9pm, to which we did refuse as without the 5 hours of slow loading this wouldn’t have been an issue, this being said they were done by 5:30pm! They as a company added a lot of stress onto our move which was completely avoidable and unacceptable! Steer clear from this company if you want an honest professional service!

Laura, Katie and the removal team were great from start to finish. Really friendly and helpful and, on the day, the removal guys were prompt, polite and took a lot of care with my things. Really appreciate their approach. The whole team helped make would could have been a stressful day really smooth and hassle free. Highly recommend. Many thanks.

Cannot recommend highly enough, they have packed up our home onto a container bound for Perth Australia. The guys who came were really nice bunch of lads, hard working and pleasant to be around.Price was very competitive as well!Anyone moving to Australia, i would definitely recommend getting a quote!All the best guys.

Amazing service from Britannia Appleyards!After my dad suffered with cancer around Christmas we moved a more comfortable recliner chair into the front room for him to sit in during his recovery.Due to pulling a muscle in my back, we weren't able to move it back now it is no longer needed.BA arranged a time with my mum, and came and moved it quickly and efficiently!Thanks again on her behalf, she's over the moon with the service.

This company took care of my recent house move, and from start to finish were professional, helpful, and so efficient. Every person I spoke to on the phone was lovely and friendly, and answered all my questions and worries. Marcus came to survey what was to be moved and was lovely - he went away to sort the figures and I had my quote within about 2 hours via email. I knew I was going with Britannia Appleyards, because they just were so much more professional than the other company I had spoken with. I had been recommended to them (by another company who deal with long haul moves) a few months prior so had been following their Facebook page, and liked how they came across. I paid the fee and believed that I was going to get a professional service, and I did. On the day of the move, Paul and John were my removal men, and they were lovely and chatty and friendly, and did all they could to ease the stress I was feeling. They were so hardworking, and I'm so grateful for all they did. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again, and I'll be recommending. Thank you!

Lovely company. Helped every step of the way with our furniture move to Normandy in France. Reasonably priced and the customer service was amazing. The blokes who offloaded our furniture in France could not have been more helpful or lovely.When moving is stressful anyway choosing a good firm is important and I spent a long time looking for the right firm. We're definitely happy we chose Britannia to help us with our move!

David Appleyard and his colleagues Katie and Gareth of Britannia Appleyards have been absolutely brilliant. We were recommended their services through another moving company as it was an international move. From the first phone call all the way through to the end, we were really happy with their services. They are on the ball, kept us to date throughout, managed to work with the moving dates we wanted and were really lovely to work with. Everything went smoothly with the move, we received our things earlier than expected as they were so efficient and all the customs clearings went well and quickly.
