Alcedo Care Wirral

My elderly Dad had a fall at home. He is 92. After a short stay in hospital he was discharged and assigned daily carers for four weeks. Dad needed help each morning with showering etc. He also had a tea time and bedtime call. I felt reassured knowing someone would be coming in every day when I couldn’t be there. I can honestly say that each and every member of the team were friendly and supportive. Always happy to chat with Dad even when he didn’t really need a lot doing. He looked forward to them coming each day and he was always left feeling content and comfortable. They were caring and professional but many were fun and shared a few laughs with Dad. I know there are a lot of needy people and a shortage of carers. We feel very lucky to have had them if only for a few weeks till Dad was back on his feet. Please accept our sincere thanks and appreciation. I would hope all people in need would receive such wonderful support. Thank you so much. xxx

These carers have been amazing for my Nan. Nothing is too much trouble.They keep me informed with everything I need to know and I love their little website, they update it every visit so I can see how my Nan is.

I can not thank the carers of Alcedo Care Wirral enough for stepping in to help my Stepdad with his personal care needs as his dementia and mobility has progressed this year rapidly, mum was finding it a struggle physically and mentally with his needs and we wanted to be able to keep him at home with her but have support in place to enable us to do this and after speaking to Jules who was very informative his package of care was put in place. My stepdad and mum were both nervous with the changes that were taking place but i can honestly say the carers have been fantastic and have built up a wonderful relationship with him and mum. Its took the pressure off mum knowing he is being well looked after at home and having the support in place for him to enable mum to have some time to herself also, i am very grateful that we found a company who have wonderful care staff who are kind, caring and patient, thank you Alcedo Care.

I started working at Alcedo Care Wirral in august as a field care supervisor and it’s by far the best company I’ve worked for. The training is fantastic and you learn so much from it. The team at the Wirral branch is so supportive and a really lovely team of people to work with. Really enjoying working for a great company.

I joined the Wirral team in Feb 2023. I’ve quickly become part of a well established team providing care to clients in their own homes. I’ve enjoyed getting to know clients and their families, enabling them to remain as independent as possible, keeping them in their own familiar surroundings. It’s a pleasure to be accepted, and trusted to provide care for so many amazing people during vulnerable parts of their lives. The whole team give 100% and put the clients at the centre of everything they do. I hope to continue working in the Wirral team and progress, using previous experience and skills I have; to continue to deliver the best possible care to every client in our care.

My mum and also her family are very pleased with the care that she receives. The carers complete all the tasks from her care plan they are always also happy to have a chat with my mum which she is always happy with. The carers always have a happy disposition which makes mum happy to receive the care, which she did not want originally, she is very happy with the care package and more so with the carers. I’ve worked for Alcedo for over a year now, they are really accommodating towards my childcare situation, the office staff are all amazing aswell as all the field care staff. Everybody helps eachother and looks out for one another, it really is a fab team ! ❤️

Iv worked for Alcedo care Wirral for 9 months now my first job as a home care worker and by far the best decision I made to join Alcedo. management are excellent , always there if you need them, all staff are lovely clients are all lovely too it’s a great feeling when you wake up each morning looking forward to your day ahead in work, overall great company to work for iv recommended friend and family to the company who also speak highly of the company
