DO NOT LIVE HERE!The women who work in the office are so rude and lack basic manners. You have to request maintenance multiple times for them to come and they took a month to fix the light in my room. Our fridge and washing machine were faulty so we requested maintenance and the guy came for 2 minutes and barely checked and then we were charged £40!!!!We lived on the 5th floor and the lift broke so many times and they'd take ages to fix it. At one point it was broken for a full week.They've also increased the price and trust me, it is not worth it.Save your money and live somewhere nicer.

Don’t ever stay in West one. Staff are completely useless, clueless if you require anything. They force you to pay for all-inclusive rents but they will not give the wifi router. If you email them they won’t reply, you go to the office they’ll tell you something completely wrong.The letting office staff a rude as hell, it’s a joke. They are upset about life or something. I’m not sure where they find such people.For the price you pay all inclusive and rent, you’re much better off somewhere else. Honestly. This is 2018 going into 2019. This review is relevant.

My Son rented an apartment from West One for his final year at University in Sheffield. I just want to say that West One have been fantastic with him, the onsite maintenance man helped him out a couple of times 'out-of-hours' and the office we were efficient with anything he needed during his time there. Holly in the office is brilliant and very helpful.I would definitely recommend West One for Student Accommodation, 5* Service

Is a lovely place and good location, room is clean, look like renovate already, live in here one year didn’t had any big issues. The staff is nice and reply your email really fast.

Last year I booked a flat view but I couldn’t find their office so I called them to navigate the office location so I was 5 minutes late. As soon as I entered the office. The girls at the reception couldn’t even be bothered to talk to me. The guy who was sitting there said:” you guys are late and I can’t show you all the flats.” Ironically I called them 10 mins ago to find their office... THIS IS NOT THE WORST! After I reviewed the flats, I emailed them to discuss the date to sign the contract. The so called manager emailed me back and asked when can I go to sign the contract. I picked up a date and emailed them back. But he didn’t emailed me back to confirm it. Next day, I emailed them again, only was told someone else took it.You could have emailed me back said it’s not available rather than letting me wait!I required the complaint form, he sent me the residential form... you think because I am student and forefinger so I can’t understand the form? Or you are trying to look down British universities because you think the unis accept idiots?I finally get the complaint form and called their manager. The lady can’t even bother to let me finish my speak...like staff like manager. Rotten from the top to the bottom.Conclusion, it’s a far residential building but the agency takes advantages of students especially foreign students by treating them unfairly and disrespectfully. If you just arrived at Sheffield and are seeking the rents. Do not consider this one! Don’t let them think you are stupid rich pigs who can be manipulated easily. Only because one star is the minimum rating I can give, otherwise it gonna be zero.

Unprofessional and rude behaviour by the front end staff. Utterly poor mannerism by the agents and customer blaming. It's a shame because you expect top quality service from a place like this. Definitely no evidence of politeness for tenants even when the staff are in fault.

Stayed for 1 year, hated it.The laundry room is ALWAYS broken. Once your laundry is finished cleaning, someone will take it out and put in the bench even your clothes aren't dry. West One has no respect for privacy whatsoever.In terms of maintenance, services are not free. It requires 15 GBP to have someone fix your stuff even your sink is clogged, electricity is not working or there's no heat in the room.The internet has to be paid for. Considering other accommodations have their internet for free, this is deal is so bad it is basically a rip off.The water and electricity have to be paid for.The staff are rude and aren't willing to help you when you ask them for help.The accommodation does not provide vacuum cleaners or any cleaning services, so you have to buy your own.Overall, hated the place.

I've lived in Sheffield for 9 years. WestOne are the best landlords I have lived with, without question. Considerate, quick to fix things in the property, accommodating and generally very nice people. I can't recommend them enough.

It has been a great experience with the West One City Center team, they've been very cooperative, respectful and understanding and indeed made my stay in Sheffield a smoother one than it could have been. Thank you all!

I have been looking for apartments to rent with my partner and the lady who answered the phone was super helpful sent me multiple locations to rent with them, A lot of the times I barely even get an answer back with other agencies so I was incredibly happy with them!
