Springwood Car Park
Always spaces, reasonable charges and free after 6pm. Short walk through the accessible subway into the town centre, close to Leisure centre too.

Good location to park very handy for town centre and added bonus is it is free to park on Saturday afternoon after 12pm until Christmas

easily found enough spaces 8.30 payed by card machine was a bit confusing but got there in the end £4.00 for 10 hr great value

Cheap rates (£2.50 for 5 hours on a Saturday) and lots of spaces BUT tried to pay with a card on the machine - first time it didn't work and the second time it charged me but didn't give me a ticket! Ended up paying through the RingGo app which charges you £3.06 for 5 hours. We were in a rush so just paid it but it was frustrating to be charged twice and to have to pay more through the app.

Good for Huddersfield town center and the sports center. Very few spaces left during the working week as gets taken up be people using the train station. Contactless payment available on the meters, bit free at the moment due to covid.

Cheap place to park (£4 all day) that is easier to get out of at busier times than the bus station (which is the same price on levels 4, 5 and 6). Bit further from the centre though.

It's a car park, so there's not much to say about it. If you're caught up in a zombie apocalypse, other than having potential cars to step for parts, it's not going to be much help.Charges are alright, I suppose, but the fact it's at the top of the hill means that you've a trek after standing in the bored boyfriend queue waiting for your partner to try every item in every shop. If this is you, I suggest you get the bus or train and go sit in over of the many great pubs and have a few pints
