I was looking to have A/C installed in my London flat and had quotes from a few companies but decided to go with Sub Cool FM because it was immediately obvious from meeting Jacob that he is passionate about his work and a bit of a perfectionist. Small touches like the pure white trunking rather than the usual industrial 'cream' make a big difference to the aesthetics in a residential install. They even painted the retaining screws white to blend in.I was given a choice of various options at different price points and ended up opting for two Mitsubishi Electric Zen units.The installation took 3 working days - the team were friendly and professional. They put protective matts down to protect the floor and tidied up any mess before leaving.During the recent 33c heatwave the units performed amazingly. Having used a noisy portable AC previously I am staggered at the difference in noise levels and performance. They zen units themselves are virtually silent if the fan is on low and the outdoor condenser is also whisper quiet which is important if you want to keep the neighbours happy!

Brilliant service, quality and price!I met Jacob the same day that I made my enquiry and was immediately impressed with the obvious knowledge he has on his specialism, about which he is passionate! I had previously contacted another local company to visit to quote for our business but was surprised that over the ‘phone they arrived at a price of over £3,000 for a fairly low spec Fujitsu system. Needless to say, they didn’t make it any further in the race! Jacob visited, did a thorough site survey and we decided to take his professional advice and went for a top of the range Mitsubishi unit with the best Zen head unit. I have previously had a Mitsubishi heat pump installed at our other home and in eight years there was not a single fault, so prior knowledge and experience made sense with Jacob’s recommendation. The system was installed by a great team of guys, thank you Andy, Ryan and Warren for an outstanding job, we are thrilled. Every aspect of their work was professional, clean and faultless. The handover was clear and I know if I have any questions down the road, they will be there.Oh, finally, these guys were several hundred pounds less expensive than the other lot, and for a top of the range product! Honestly, don’t bother looking anywhere else, it won’t be necessary! Enjoy!

From my first contact with Sub-cool FM to the commissioning, testing of the installation and hand-over, I can say that my experience as a Sub Cool FM client has been absolutely flawless.Jacob did the initial visit and quoted for an in-ceiling unit in the loft space. Rather than seeing technical hurdles like some of his competitors, Jacob’s can do attitude and personable character transpired from the initial contact. Jacob offered me different options to choose from, without trying to push one in particular, and his pricing was very competitive. After the survey and ordering, the anticipated installation came. Sub-Cool FM’s team of installers could not be more professional and helpful. They discussed with me all the final options to make the best possible installation, even if it was far from the easiest. For instance, they built a special platform to sit the unit on in the eave space to make the installation and future access easier. They did not rush the job and I can honestly say that the quality of installation exceeded my expectation. They were very meticulous.My Thanks to Jacob and his brilliant team of installers: Andy, Ryan, Warren, Ken & Zac who have been working on the project. If I could give them a 11/10, I would!

Fantastic experience from the whole team. They were attentive from point of contact, right the way through to after the installation. The turnaround from enquiry, to contact, to survey, to quote, to install was extremely fast and professional.The unit looks great and the level of workmanship was very high. In addition to taking the time to answer our questions, they gave us really helpful training on getting the most out of the newly installed system.A breath of fresh air having had some so-so experiences with installations companies/tradespeople.

Emailed this company twice regarding 3-4 indoor units no response, I then tried calling them twice both times no answer. I think the owner is too busy trying to look good for the camera doing blogs and YouTube videos talking about it rather than actually doing work.

Originally we wanted to install an air- conditioning unit in the bedroom, but because adding an additional unit in the living room wasn’t hugely expensive we decided on both floors.Installation was very quick, although the lead time was about 2 months due to demand.We only had a good and professional experience with Sub- Cool and we’d definitely recommend them- worth a wait!
