Ducklings Private Nursery

Little ducklings is a lovely setting next to Moor Hall school. Its obviously not as big as other nurseries in the area but it has all the amenities a child needs. My daughter has been there since March 2016 and she is very happy with the staff. They are friendly and attentive. They have small sections dedicated to different learning and are fortunate to have use if the school field and playground. At 4 years she has learnt her letters, numbers to 50 and is now joining letters to make words. The nursery use Parent Zone which is a communication tool between the nursery and parent. It's 100% secure and provides daily updates to what my daughter is learning. It also gives me the opportunity to provide some feedback. The main thing is she is happy and enjoys it.

This one of the best Nursery's I ever sent my Son to and he LOVES IT! From the Owner to The Head Teacher to the Teachers they not only care for the children but are always there for the parents too. Facilities are great, they are clean and there is always a weekly Theme which really keeps the children engaged and interested. At Christmas they did a lovely Christmas kids party which got everyone envolved. My son has been so happy here Full Time over the last 2 years I can not recommend this Nursery enough. He has developed into such a lovely, clever, caring little boy and this is down to this Nursery. Can't believe he's going to School in September. Can not thank you enough Ducklings Nursery Team

My son has been attending Ducklings for approximately the last 18 months and to watch is progress has been great. I love the setting and have been genuinely impressed with the approach-ability of the staff and the care they have for each child.I love the updates I get on a daily basis about my son, along with the progress monitoring through parentzone. I cannot thank the nursery enough for the foundation it is providing, along with the giving the perfect mix of playing/learning.Thank you Ducklings!

As I am a first time mum I was not quite sure about leaving my son alone for so long, but I have to say Ducklings made him feel so welcome, that I lost any concerns shortly after starting. The whole team is super friendly and positive. It is great to see what amazing games they always play with the kids, already in the babyroom and even more now in toddlers. Now that my son is talking, he tells me every morning that he wants to go to day care. So yes I can highly recommend Ducklings for your kids, I am sure they will love it :)

I still remember when my daughter started another nursery after long covid break and was not settling down even after months.I felt glad and pleased when she started going to Duckling and to our surprise got settled within a week.Special thanks to Miss Westin for making this happen.Also, It’s always wonderful seeing our daughter getting excited about going to nursery everyday.The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re very thankful to all staff and management for giving my daughter a fabulous environment where she can enjoy and learn.

I have 2 children who have attended Ducklings so have been going for 5 years. It is a happy, loving, safe and nurturing environment. My youngest was very shy and timid when she first went but now she is such a confident girl and that is without doubt thanks to the Ducklings team. She is excelling in ALL areas of the EYFS and is so happy, she loves going to nursery.As for that nasty review....what a load of rubbish! It is pathetic for someone to try and publicly slate a business (and making it personal is disgusting behaviour), let alone the kind where reviews mean so much. As an actual real parent to a child that spends 24 hours per week there i feel i am very well equipped to give a proper review. Well done to all of the team you do a great job, keep doing what you're doing.BTW yes my daughter comes home with mud on her jeans, glue in her hair and paint down her finger nails but i wouldnt have it any other way...its called having fun!

My son has enjoyed his two years at Ducklings. There has always been a range of activities available that have engaged him.

Ducklings nursery is without a doubt one of the nicest,cleanest, safest and most loving nursery's out there. My son has been attending for nearly 3 years and i have watched him go from strength to strength psyically and mentally, the staff are so welcoming and really have a great connection with each individual child. The use of the I connect system here is fantastic its regularly updated and packed full of great information about ur child's progress, my son is so happy attending nursery and always goes in with a excited smile on his face, the activities done here and even one on one personal projects with the kids are outstanding and they are really focused on preparing your child for the time school comes. Clean and safe with a great space for the children and even a smaller quite separate area for the children to go to read have a nap etc,,,, The quality of food the children recieve is of great choice and my son often has seconds all fresh and the children are all supported and educated on how to eat and sit nicely while eating which helps alot at home. we couldn't be happier with choosing Ducklings for our child to grow into the lovely well educated kind little boy he is!
