John came to clean out our wood burning stove pipe as arranged over the phone. Very friendly and professional chap, brought all the gear including carpet protectors. Arrived early which was fine and was done within the hour. A chimney inspection certificate was provided and he even had some helpful advice for our burner as well. Payment taken over card machine was very helpful. Good communication over Facebook messenger as well.Very pleased with the service, will use again, thank you

Having had a stove pipe fire this morning Derwentside sweeps came round to check the chimney lining for any damage using CCTV, which luckily there hasn’t been.Great service by not only our local Fire and Rescue to make sure the fire was out and not in the chimney space, but also our own local chimney sweeps to make sure the stove can be put back together again next week.Really glad that it was power swept in September so very little in the chimney to course any major problems.Cheers guys.
