Vets for Pets - Altrincham

Excellent vets, they have treated my cocker spaniel a few times, they are always friendly and helpful. The pet plan cover they do is very good, I would recommend taking that out, if you haven't already.

We can’t thank Nathan (the vet) enough, for all of his help and support with the paperwork involved in being able to take our dog out of the country. He went above and beyond to help with this transition.All staff are very friendly and it was a 5* service. Thanks again.Highly recommended *****

My little malshi, Baby, had a dental today and Ella one of the nurses took me through everything that was going to happen. She really did go the extra mile to look after my little girl, I received an update with a pic of her and another update after the procedure, again everything she had done was explained in great detail including another pic post op. Ella is so caring and she made me feel confident and positive. My overall experience with Ella was a 10 plus! I wouldn’t hesitate to leave any of my 3 girls in Ella’s care ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another fantastic service by V4P Altrincham. They really do make you feel special at every visit. We had banter with the receptionists. A quick game of guess the age of the dog, and sharing a few nicknames. Chatting to other people in the waiting room and when we went through to the examination room the practice nurse was extremely calm and patient with our very nervous collie who if rushed will back himself into a corner and refuse to move.We were in for annual vaccinations which were all prepaid under the excellent Vac 4 Life scheme and discussed his overall health (he’s a senior).Had to call a couple of days later as he was in pain with back legs and both receptionist and practice nurse knew exactly who he was, recalling some of the nicknames. Nurse then called the vet on his day off to check a couple of things before calling us back to advise painkillers could be collected. Just an excellent service all round and we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Main complaint is the opaque pricing schemes for various treatments. They aren't posted anywhere online, or in person. You have to ask about everything, and they offer tempting subscriptions" without saying what the prices are of the individual things inside of the subscription. I did manage to get them to write down most of their unlisted prices though

Your pets health is not their priority, money is. Be warned. Check trustpilot reviews.Edit. After paying for several medications and going to many appointments ect and only being told I am eligible for only 3 consultations a year for free. For me to then find out they have completely missed my poor cats pneumonia and instead insisted on dental treatment! Which potentially could have ended my cats life. Shocking services, how professional vets can miss this is beyond me!

Unfortunately, our Guinea Pig wasn't well. The staff were very sympathetic, kind, and gentle in their approach. Sadly, our pet had to go to sleep. Thank you to the lady who dealt with the upsetting situation in a very caring manner.

Have had our dogs here for many years. Nathan and Rachel have been very caring and compassionate and very highly knowledgeable when doing health checks, vaccinations, spaying and advice.Recently, due to declining health the hardest decision had to be made by us to let our 17 year old special Boy have peace. The young lady on the reception desk when we phoned for the appointment was very empathetic. The love and care that Nathan showed our Boy while we were saying goodbye was genuine and heartfelt. I would definitely recommend Vets4Pets Altrincham.

Really friendly staff. Took the latest addition to the household to be spayed.They took great care of her, followed up three days later. Cat had a slight temperature. So sorted out medication for her.Took her back today for the final check up.

I feel listened to as an owner. Nurses and Vet are patient, caring and adapt to the needs of my little dog Binky who is nervous on every visit. Highly recommend the wonderful team.Thank you
