Went into Rise Furniture and Mobility today looking for comfortable and wide fitting shoes. Met Mr.Carl Drake who I had spoken to on the phone earlier to find out if they had my kind of shoes in stock.Mr. Drake was very kind, helpful and courteous. He gave me great advice in regards to the type of shoes that would give me a good balance as well as support my swollen and sore feet due to polio. Mr. Drake went the extra mile to ensure I choose the right shoes that fitted perfectly and felt like comfort heaven on my feet.I will definitely be returning to this shop whenever I need a new pair of shoes. Ordered a rise and recline chair for my mother from Carl at Rise Furniture and Mobility. Everything was done online as neither my mother nor I live locally to the shop and my mother is housebound. Carl was extremely knowledgable and covered every detail throughout the order process. The chair arrived as promised and my mother is delighted. I recently took my mum in to have a look at buying a riser recliner chair...the owner was very pleasant and really looked after her. We selected a chair and her preferred colour, it was delivered 3 days later,and the old one removed... really happy with the chair and the service.... thanks for your help...mum is so pleased and would be happy to recommend to others.

Excellent service from start to finish. A product (porta chair) was suggested for my Mother-in-law that we weren't aware existed but once told about it we knew it would help her tremendously. Carl arranged for an instore demo, followed by a visit to Mum's care home to make sure the chair fitted her correctly before we ordered As the product was bespoke it took a few weeks to be made but Carl kept us in the picture regarding progress and delivery. The chair arrived for Mum today and we are very happy to see her sitting in the chair, knowing that she is extremely comfortable and safe. Would highly recommend Rise Mobility

Looking for a wheel chair for our centenarian mother, I found Rise of Harrogate on the internet. We needed there to be no obstacle between the bed and the seat of the arm chair. Rise Furniture had a wheel chair on the website that the arms folded clear of the seat. Called the Mobility Centre on Monday. Carl discussed the chair I had seen, said he got it for his own mother, I ordered in on line and the chair was delivered to our mother's home near Oxford on Wednesday.It is absolutely exactly what we needed. Both arms can be easily folded upwards clear of the seat and my mum can now slide from bed to wheel chair without the need to lift her - which she hates. It will transform our lives.Thank you so much Carl, for understanding our need and providing the right tool for the job in double quick time. Exceptional service.

I came to Harrogate for a conference from Vienna, Austria, and beforehand learned about Cosy Feet shoes for problem feet. I found that Rise Mobility is a supplier in Harrogate, and wrote to them asking about shoes in my size. In a series of emails before my trip, Mr Carl Drake arranged to have an appropriate selection in the shop during my visit. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and took the time to find the perfect fit. I can highly recommend Mr Drake and Rise Mobility for service, selection and expertise. I only wish he was in Vienna!

Excellent service when purchasing an adaptable bed for my 91 year old mother. The bed arrived within the timescales promised and was set up with minimum fuss and a clear explanation of how to operate it.We are delighted with the quality of the product and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend visiting the showroom as there is a huge variety of products to choose from. I agree with other reviews that Carl is extremely helpful without being pushy. I’m certain I will be visiting again in the future.
