Went to a funeral there high steps all the way upstairs but other than that it was fine

Personally I found the staff quite friendly and helpful, but the customers all seemed to know someone in there, their are some people there who spoil this club for a majority of nice people who are there for a good time & who use this club for the music, dancing & entertainment but there are a clique of people who are so obviously there to spoil the evening by causing arguments with their not called for rude remarks & need for petty insults and playschool types of behaviour.Sorry for the majority of nice people.!!

Avoid at all costs. The management were very unprofessional and the entertainment isn't on par as elsewhere in Cardiff.

I am a regular there and rate it highly not only that im a player in the pool team the staff are very friendly plus a very nice pint of coors lite people are very friendly and welcoming great atmosphere

Since the demise of some other drinking establishments, it has become the new focal point for the younger clientel of the area.Could be better.

Now known by Roath sports and social club. One of last servicing watering holes left on Broadway, with a large function room with built in bar upstairs to accommodate functions and caberet, bingo nights and the like. Can also be hired for private functions. Downstairs is a large bar with pool/snooker table for the locals and visitors alike. A lounge area to the back and a skittle alley. I believe the lounge can be hired for functions but best check beforehand with the staff, who are friendly and fast at serving a good selection of drinks. Parking might be a problem sometimes if you need to get right next to the venue due to it being in a residential area but there's usually a spot not too far away. All in all a good pub and hopefully will be about for a while. Five stars from me.
