Usually good but last nights meal was less than standard, firstly they left out part of the meal, curry sauce was too watery as must have been the dreggs of bottom of the pan and to top it off 1 meal was over cooked and tasted burned! Well disappointed as you been to graft all day and waste money on that.

Friendly service, and lovely food, Singapore noodles are a favourite, satay and black bean sauce dishes too.The best Chinese in Sunderland for me.

I wont go back. Chicken balls, fried rice and curry sauce was my order. Discected the chicken balls. small piece of formed chicken in bread and batter to make them look big. Was very stodgy. Rubbish to be fair. Curry was ok, rice was ok Plenty of tasty places to choose from - only went here as most others were closed Tuesday nights

When we moved in 2019 we got our first take out and the chicken balls were unbeatable massive juicy and tasted really nice. However since then every chicken balls meal we have had have been over cooked and the chicken was more chunks than balls. We still like the other meals but the chicken balls have been a right letdown since that first order

1st time i ever tried ribs was from here and i was hooked . Just had them again and they were so dry and tough i don't think i could ever face them again . Pity because they were absolutely to die for before

We love the Green Bamboo we really missed it during COVID19 crisis but the staff and the food are the best we've had from a Chinese Takeaway and cheaper than most others and you get a lot of food for the price well recommended to everyone if you enjoy good food at great prices then try here.
