Aintree University Hospital -Opthalmology

Waited 6 months to actually see a ophthalmologist.This is longer than I waited for urology.Do you or nurses want or even care about patients with other conditions.I. have a va shunt whirich is ok.If you can’t or won’t see patients with other health conditions send them to the Liverpool hospital.I’m not old but I also use a wheelchair.‘I’m lucky my mum was an opthalmic nurse but in 1960 and 1970’s and she explained this years ago.Don’t push me further down a list because I also have epilepsy.

Had squint surgery here yesterday, I was a little nervous as it was under local anaesthetic. The nurses were so nice and reassuring. The surgeon Mr Marsh was equally as nice and professional. Thanks for helping through a rather difficult day. You're all stars

My mum has macular degeneration, the hospital detected this and is supposed to administer an injection into the eye within 14 days to stop you going blind , they took 45 days to give her an eye injection and she is now blind in her right eye.I am currently getting legal advice and going to sue the hospital for negligence, but this will not bring back my mums eye sight.I bet there own family do not have to wait 45 days to save there eye sight.
