Sheffield Foyer

What a complete and utter waste of time you are, for over 2 weeks we have had no outside lighting on our flats, it's the middle of winter pitch black and sometimes icy. Yet you are still fobbing us off with pathetic excuses,1) your so called engineer came late at night then said it was to dark to do anything. (I think that would be pretty obvious to any idiot)2) eng. The

The staff are nice and very helpful but apart from that the place is a dump! Full of guys who smoke drugs and cause trouble through out the day and night. I hardly sleep due to doors being slammed and the other residents pressing your alarm in your room to wake you up cus they think it's funny. I've had no hot water and I've been here weeks I've since had a replacement water heater which don't work and heater on my room don't work properly and don't really warm up the room so I'm basically living in cold. I dread coming home from work at night cus the place is that bad. For those who get offered a place here I would turn it down. Awful place

I wouldn't even give it a star. Got me in a ton of debt when I was on a zero hour contract at work so I struggled paying the rent. When I'd ask the staff for help I'd get told to go and wait in my room as they were dealing with someone else at the moment. I'd waste half the day waiting round in my room to find out they'd gone home and then wouldn't be in for days after. I was never offered help or support as I couldn't afford the rent some weeks due to my contract. Nor would I get much sleep due to people blasting music all hours of the night, the fire alarm would continuously go off or people fighting in the middle of the night, slamming doors,breaking windows and screaming ect.. The place always smelt of weed. Then when it came to room inspections staff wouldn't knock on the door, they would just unlock the door and walk in which on one occasion I was in the shower, when I heard the door being unlocked I shouted I was in the shower yet they still continued to unlock the door so I had to run to the and slam the door shut after shouting multiple times whilst running to the door that I was in the shower.

The staff are very friendly, and they try there best to help you with anything you need. They helped me so much.

I know what an amazing team there is at the Sheffield Foyer, a valuable service for Sheffield's younger people.

The foyer persistently smelt of weed and I was constantly awake due to other residents yelling and throwing things in early hours of the morning.I also had a poor diet there and hardly any sleep.I do not recommend for anyone

Safe place

It's not even the right number for Guinness northern counties this takes you through to Sheffield foyer which is a pain for them and a pain for getting in touch!!!

After a troublesome period for my son. They welcomed him in. The staff are so caring about young people. You can clearly see they do the job because they enjoy it rather than for the money. I cannot thank them enough.
