In Feb last year, took my Fiat 500x to Vulcan and from start to finish it was awful. They kept the car for months AND to top it off, found out we were scammed. But given it was Feb last year, we know it would be near impossible to get our money back with these expert liarsThey were supposed to have replaced the head gasket but they hadn't. They kept it for 2 months and all they did is pour in a sealant to stop the leak. They claimed they replaced the head gasket and sent it off and that's why it took so long however, the issue had returned only 9 months later and a RELIABLE technician has looked and said there is Zero evidence the head gasket has been removed. With some items such as laptops for example, there's a warning sticker along the lines of, when seal is broken.....same thing applies to cars and the nuts and bolts too. There's white paint down the bolts and if they removed the head gasket they would have had to remove all the nuts and bolts and the paint would therefore crack/come away. But there is no sign of this on ANY of the nuts and bolts.In addition they informed us if the head gasket would have been replaced we would have received a warranty. We did not!We were charged THOUSANDS and the car was kept for months, all for them to pour sealant to mask the issue. CRIMINALS. I will be reporting the business

Absolutely fantastic service, they are not local to me but after I seen very high reviews on there work, I decided to book my car in, well what I can say very helpful delightful people they are. The work was brilliant , I would definitely recommend to anyone.

If you’re looking for a reliable, knowledgeable and fantastic mechanic then look no further! Ben went above and beyond to help us when I purchased a van that broke down after three weeks! He couldn’t have done anymore and nothing was too much hassle for him (even replied to me when he was on holiday!). Took my S3 to Ben at vulcan motors & torque monkeys with a cold cabin due to the heater matrix being blocked, when doing a coolant flush they came across the dreaded stop leak and why was it in there. They recommended a radiator and matrix change after doing many other flushes litres and it was still there, so we went ahead and the tech changed both, the matrix is a labour intensive job so hats of to the tech who worked on my car, not a thing out of place! Ben then went above and beyond doing again several head tests just to rule any head problems, changing the spark plugs also, notifying me of another small problem we will sort in the new year! And the front of house are lovely to! I can't thank these guys enough! I also travel from Oxford so roughly 50 minutes to this garage HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Took my car in for a mot got the dates wrong but the gentleman said wasn't a problem would do the mot .I have used them a couple of times now and found them Very good i would highly recommend them.

I have had the pleasure of using Vulcan Motors on a couple of occasions this year. The first was for a un-identified rattle which was stored quickly. The second was more complicated as I need help with a project car to get it back on the road. From start to finish the process of was painless, the quote was very clear and well priced, the way that I was kept informed of the progress, and the general communication was spot on. I was especially impressed with the way in which I was involved in the process given that there were issues sourcing a replacement coolant tank from Ford.Overall I am very happy with the service and quality of the work and will not hesitate to use Vulcan Motors again in the future!!

These guys definitely won my feedback,from customer service,the warm welcome is off the scale ,left my 5series with Ben rounds and I must say this that these one thing that Ben can’t say ….and that is ( we can’t do it ) he went above and beyond to get my car done even though it had a password put on my ECU by the previous remappers .I’ll be going there again for a gearbox remap and take my other cars after.Very very happy with the results thank you ever so muchHayden
