We reached out to Wayne to help us with our dog who pulls and can be reactive towards other dogs. Wayne has devised a tailored training plan and been fantastic. Cannot recommend Military K9 Fitness & Behaviour enough! We are excited to start pack walks too.

I adopted a reactive, unsocialised 2 year old rescue Dobermann and immediately got in touch with Wayne. He’s worked each week with us and within a couple of months we were able to attend the charities annual dog show. Although still work in progress, without Wayne’s knowledge, help and support along with pushing us out of our comfort zone, none of this would’ve been achievable. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Military K9 Fitness & Behaviour for anyone wanting help to achieve a great partnership with their dog.

*Incredible results!*My rescue dog has become increasingly reactive when on a lead, barking and lunging at other dogs. Having taken her away on a Christmas break, it became clear that we needed some professional help as everything we tried had failed and the advice we’d been given was so varied and confusing. The situation was embarrassing for us and becoming dangerous and incredibly frustrating for her.Wayne and his amazing dog, Hugo, worked with us for 90 minutes. The advice was simple to put into effect and gave me a far better understanding of the likely factors behind the negative behaviours. By the end of the session I felt really comfortable that I could resolve the issue with ease - no fancy tools needed, no treats and no extreme force required.Tonight I set off for a walk with both of my dogs, putting into effect what we’d learnt. Eventually we passed a dog that had engaged in a number of ‘bark-offs’ with my girl but, after a quick reminder.. not a sound, not a pull on the lead, nothing! The change is incredible and I am delighted and so grateful to have seen Wayne’s services advertised.I wish I’d done this months ago!

Wayne was recommended to me by a good friend and I can’t thank them enough. I managed to get an appointment squeezed into Wayne’s busy client workload and he got straight to work asking all about my dogs behaviour, character and experiences we’ve had together so far. Recall was the main reason for wanting dog training but Wayne managed to explain what other behaviours were needing work in order to then work towards improving recall. All of what was said and explained to me made sense and I was able to see improvement straight away. We were given work to do at home and I’m looking forward to continue our training and hopefully showing Wayne our improvements.Would highly recommend!!

I would 100% recommend Wayne at Military K9 fitness & Behaviour.I was looking for a balanced trainer to help me get my young European male Doberman pup off to a great start.At our first session alone we discussed crate training, suggested routine and sleeping pattern, threshold manners, heeled walking and focus and engagement. I’ve since been to some of the pack walks Wayne holds and these are fantastic for real world training.If you need no nonsense help and guidance for you and your dog, Wayne is your man!

Absolutely top class dog training, no messing around. No silly gimmicks. Just great training! Loved learning about dog neutrality and loose lead walking with Wayne. He’s really straight talking and has shown me where I am going wrong. Highly recommend. I never thought I would gain the confidence to walk near German shepherds and Doberman dogs with my Labrador but Wayne has shown me how to connect with my dog and have her attentions on me instead. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We met Wayne for the first time on Saturday 7th September. We have a 6 year old chocolate Labrador who just wants to play with every dog he sees and will do absolutely anything to achieve that even going so far as to run into the road previously. I have never been able to walk him as he is so strong and I have always been concerned that he would pull me over. With Wayne's help I was able to not only walk Milo but actually enjoy walking him. Wayne advised about changing his collar and lead which made a huge difference. Having dismissed tv dog training programmes as being staged for tv I was amazed when in just an hour I was not only walking Milo but feeling safe and confident doing so. I couldn't believe it when Wayne and I stood talking with Milo and Waynes dog Hugo lying beside us and Milo never even looked in Hugo's direction. Not something I could ever have imagined. Wayne gave me lots of encouragement but also explained to me why Milo behaved the way he does so I felt I had a better understanding of him. As soon as we got home I got Milo a new lead and collar recommended by Wayne and although its early days I am so much more confident. We are going to continue our training with Wayne and hopefully in the future do pack walks and actually enjoy walking Milo.

Wayne has and will be an amazing addiction to training our dogs. He offered non judgemental advice on how we can better support both our pups, and we saw immediate results which I cannot wait to build on. Friendly, helpful and absolutely key in dog training. He came highly recommended by several friend who had problem behaviours in their own dogs; the results across the board are so great
