I went to the hospital and was coming out and saw the patisserie. I thought will get two vanilla slices and then felt the ambiance of the shop and got two slides of carrot cake for my husband and a cheeky shortbread cookie for me. The cookie is fabulous!! We have yet to eat the rest. The gentleman who served me was last very polite. They have such a selection I felt like a child in a toy shop. Wish it was outside the hospital as we have to pay hospital parking to visit the patisserie.

Lovely friendly staff, great location, very welcome sight. Fabulous sausage rolls and an absolutely fantastic Belgian bun. Will definitely visit again. Well done guys

I visited here today and had a Sausage bap.To my horror the Server, although very pleasant touched my roll with her hands instead of using a serviette, piece of food covering or gloves. The staff were handling cash, touching food and the brown and red sauce bottles too. Also touching the hot drinks machine buttons. I really should have complained at the time, and the times before but enough is enough. I expected far more, especially in a Hospital! Hair nets should also be worn for long hair. I do not want my food touched by unsterylised hands.I have visited here a few times and also another business in Stafford and the same thing keeps happening ,so I've reported both businesses to Environmental Health as hygiene standards are so important.I would say to the management here to train your staff properly on safe food handing and also audit it regularly.So many nasty viruses are passed on from hands to food, it's basic common sense.
