Priya is as the highlight of my group of freinds night. She was so welcoming and accommodating we all felt instantly at ease. She needs a raise or at least a promotion to head of customer care as the previous times nobody has compared

This club is actually pretty terrible. Like I been 3 times (I don’t know why) and to this to day I still don’t even know what music they play, it’s just a whole bunch of noise and lights. The place just feels dodgy and uncomfortable. Only good thing bout it is that it opens late

Absolute joke of a place went out with my gf who suffers from coldness & she lost her receipt for her furry coat even though she’d also given them her initials & signature before then provided her driving license upon leaving to collect the coat we got told we wasn’t aloud it because we didn’t have the receipt even tho she had everything else… Now just seen someone’s put it up for sale on Facebook marketplace!! Disgusting

Ableist security and manager. Denied me, a disabled person with official ID to show I’m disabled and radar key to use the restroom in the venue. Managed wouldn’t even speak to me and then one of the security with no body cam shoved me, called me a “rude little spaz” for trying to explain that the reason I stand funny is because I’m physically disabled and autistic and didn’t have my main walking aid and just had my spine support aid on last night and said I was “drunk” because again, the way I stood with my disability and that I was banned for standing weird with my disability. Completely unpleasant experience, to have my disability mocked by security and to receive verbal and physical aggression for being disabled was incredibly discriminatory

Great experience, went to the Quids In night, staff were lovely, drinks were decent and it is actually FULLY wheelchair accessible!! There is a lift to higher levels, disabled toilet and ramps around the venue! Only comment would be is the DJ broke the flow of the music a few times too many, but overall very grateful for the experience and glad that I can visit even when using my wheelchair!

Nottingham generally is a strange place. If you're a black male I would avoid going to NG1 CLUB, you will get the feeling youre not welcome. You get immediately stereotyped as something bad, and irrational hostility from bouncers due to their own ignorance about races so from the start you're treated differently. You need to try to understand what part of UK this is and that people who go there are likely to have negative feelings about people of colour from their own parenting so you are likely to experience hostility throughout your time in the club, be blamed for a negative incident, percieved as the perpetrator, not helped and that cycle of bigotry will continue there. Do not waste or ruin your night by going there. Go where you are welcome and treated as a human being like everyone else. I did walk around not far from there and saw a club where black people were and it seemed like they were having so much fun and everyone was happy, the bouncers were black also and funny enough it looked like other races were avoiding that place which tells you a lot about Nottingham itself. I also lived there for 7 years previously coming from London and it was the first time in my life I got to really understand that I was black, I can't explain it well but it was a strange eye opener and important to safeguard yourself when traveling around the world.
