Brilliant. The receptionist was so helpful initially, moving a couple of appointments to fit me in when I was really desperate to be seen. The micro suction procedure was quick and painless and I had instant relief after weeks of tinnitus, hearing loss and pain. I definitely recommend!

I could not have felt in better hands. I have awkwardly small ears with very narrow auditory canals and they have never been easy to clear. Jon Doyle was so professional and incredibly reassuring. He put me completely at ease and made me feel much more comfortable about the procedure. I highly recommend the services of Clifton Audiology.

Highly recommended. Thoroughly excellent process from start to finish. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Jonathan did a wonderful and painless job of removing some heavy wax from both ears using microsuction. The results are tremendous, my hearing has improved significantly. Very professional and great value. Thanks!

We paid £75 for micro suction , the audiologist who did the micro suction appeared to have a bad back and found it quite difficult to actually perform the task , I explained that the wax needed to be removed before ear moulds could be fitted , she said well I think I have got enough out for the audiology department to complete that , we had also followed instructions re olive oil drops beforehand. , having re visited st Michaels audiology Today who confirmed that the ears didn’t appear any different and that although the wax inside the ears is soft enough to be removed easy enough it hadn’t been , she recommended we go to someone else , rang and spoke to receptionist who said basically because we had had the appointment although it didn’t achieve what was paid for unlikely to get a refund but to put our complain in writing as they are a very small clinic and don’t offer refunds

I had a blocked ear and went to the practice. The receptionist was very helpful. I was seen by Dr Sanketa Naik . An excellent clinician. I was looked after and treated with great care. I would highly recommend this practice

I was very happy with the service - after not being able to hear properly for several weeks the microsuction made a difference in a matter of seconds. Jonathan was very reassuring, professional and explained the process clearly. I had a follow up appointment with irrigation to remove further build up which again was very straight forward and painless. The reception staff were friendly and kind. Overall an excellent experience! Thank you.

My husband (let's call him C) and I moved to Bristol from the US one year ago. C has congenital hearing loss and has worn hearing aids since he was a child. His hearing has been stable in recent years, but he started noticing over the last 6-8 months that it's more difficult to hear, especially in conversational settings.We booked an appointment at Clifton Audiology for an audiogram and hearing analysis. Before the audiogram was performed, staff asked C a series of questions about his hearing. We were both dismayed that after sharing his experience, the basic gist of staff's reply was: You know there's an app for that!"The focus of almost the entire appointment was on the Phonak app and various settings that can be used through the app. None of this is applicable to the hearing aids that C wears. C and I both tried to let staff know this

Perhaps it is a 5 star service but I will never know as I did not go ahead with arranging an appointment. The reason : C A wanted payment in full BEFORE the appointment to avoid customers not keeping their appointments .... well I don't pay in advance for a service so not coming !! No problem booking elsewhere.

I came to see Jon about 2 months ago to deal with a nasty build-up of wax in both ears. He was calm, reassuring and professional. My right ear was sorted immediately with a small amount of aftercare to be applied to my left ear. After following Jon's advice, I was hearing clearly in both ears soon after my visit.I Can't recommend him and Clifton Audiology enough and I will definitely be coming back for regular check-ups.

I have had a few appointments with Jonathan and they've all been great. He's great at making you feel comfortable and I've always felt completely at ease - not always easy with things going in and coming out of your ears!I have spent much of the last year travelling and before I left had some earplugs made by Jonathan that were moulded to my ear. They are absolutely amazing and have been a total godsend - they have made sleeping on planes, buses and in noisy hostel dorms a breeze.
