Dunnes Stores

We just shopped at dunnes stores this morning It was good but the store needs more people on the check out

There are nice items in this store. The store is clean and well organised. It was very busy and there were only two people on the counter so the queue did move slowly.There were two staff members walking about close to the cashiers but none seemed to care that the queue was long.

New range of autumn and winter clothing in store now. Good value for money. Staff are always friendly.

Good quality and reasonably priced. The staff are always very friendly and helpful with finding things around the store. The deals are also great. I have found so many bargains especially in their Home department .

Some readers may consider my comments sad, or even pathetic. Please bear with me until you have read my entire comments and then make your judgement. I'm a 68 year old fella from a lovely wee coastal town, some forty minutes from our gorgeous city of Belfast.Today I celebrate being ALIVE. One year ago today, I was released from Antrim Hospital, having been a patient for two weeks, having been the recipient of a BRAIN HEMORRHAGE. SIX WEEKS AFTER THE FIRST HEMORRHAGE I SUSTAINED A SECOND BRAIN HEMORRHAGE. I will forever be so grateful and thankful to all the medical staff in Antrim Hospital and The Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. This is where DUNNES STORE comes into my story. The day I had my first Hemorrhage, I was about to go to DUNNES store in BALLYMENA, but that was not to be.My home town of Larne, closed it's DUNNES store and DUNNES for many in the town, was the very centre of our community, as it was geographically. When DUNNES left town, it was as though the very heart of our community had been ripped out. To celebrate my first year of life after two brain hemorrhages, I spent three days in Belfast, having NOT STAYED IN BELFAST FOR JUST OVER HALF A CENTURY.DUNNES STORE on High Street/Corn Market, Belfast, was my greatest delight for the entire trip. Now I can hear the comments...lol. Crazy ole goat"

Lots of lovely new jousehold items and a lovely spacious and airy store for ease of movingaround and seeing the goods on sale.

Great value, good quality and lots of variety. I would have preferred the member of staff on the till to actually look at me as she was processing my payment rather than continue with the conversation she was having with a colleague. Not a good impression to give customers.

I got my partner a white shirt but they had no black ties which is unusual. We were in at about 5.40pm but the staff were still courteous and polite.

Efficient customer service from Paula today but more importantly friendly and personable.
