I purchased 5l of black container paint from their Ebay store. The paint arrived, tin all dented as it had no packaging. The paint turned out to be a dark grey, definitely not black. This resulted in my product leaving the workshop late, one order actually being cancelled. When I queried about the colour they said, that was their black". Not very helpful at all. They even left a smart comment on my Ebay feedback. Hence why I am leaving a review on here.I would avoid this companies products."

If you want a floor paint that never goes off then these guys are the best available....I'm now on day number 5 and it's still very much wet in places. Had a space heater on for days and even a dehumidifier....Absolutely terrible product.Edit: after two weeks of waiting I've had to get on my hands and knees and remove the still wet paint.

Bought their top of the range “aquatuff” (water based but isn’t ‘tuff’ trust me!) paint after messaging and phoning them, speaking about my concrete floor, what I wanted / required etc. I meticulously prepared the floor and as instructed. I did a test patch as instructed and the paint seemed to have stuck well so I continued with painting.First coat of paint took 4.5 hours to do with a roller as it was soaking into the concrete well, once completed I left this coat just over 24 hours to dry (well ventilated watertight building with 20+ degrees ambient temperature, no rain), it did look great....see picturesSecond coat only took an hour to do as the first coat clearly sealed the concrete somewhat, I left to dry for 6+ hours as per their website instructions before giving the floor its third and final coat. This was then left for 4 days without even being walked on (again good 20+ degree ambient weather, a few rain showers but mostly sunny outside)I started taking some things into the workshop later that week and instantly the paint has started lifting with only being walked on with trainers….it’s like the paint is soft and has reacted with itself and doesn’t like being over-coated...? I needed to get some electrics done and had a small set of steps to stand on that have rubber / smooth plastic feet, instantly the paint is scratched off! God knows what will happen if a car drives on it and the wheels are turned....What a complete waste of time and money, the only way to put this right is to scrape up the entire painted floor and redo it with a decent product, stay clear of this aquatuff its utter rubbishI wish I looked at the company reviews before buying and didn’t believe the things I read on their website :(UPDATE: after a discussion with rhos, answering some questions which I’d already been through before buying the product the final take was:“That it was a mistake made by me during application” don’t know what yet, waiting to find that out“That I shouldn’t follow instructions on their website about overcoating times”“That info on their website about curing / drying times is aload of BS”

Called marl coatings about 6-7 months ago asking advice on how to get the best results when using their products. I told them that we would be using it on a workshop floor and that the workshop is used to store vans, these vans would be moved in and out twice a day and that’s it. I was told that they have this paint in their workshop and that there is a forklift being used on it all day and everyday and that it was still like new after 2-3 years. This was exactly what I wanted to hear. I described the quality of floor that I was going to paint to them and I was advised to use a sealer and then 2-3 coats of paint. It was advised that this would then be more than sufficient for what I needed. I was sold on this product and trusted it. I therefore went ahead and bought this paint and applied it as directed by the company. After 5-6 months of using my workshop the paint has completely lifted in most places. It’s flaking and bubbling and needs to be scraped up and totally re-layed.I can provide pictures of my unit on request.DO NOT buy this product if you want it to last more than 6 months with general wear and tear.
