Gino D'Acampo Restaurant Leeds
Really looking forward to trying here for the first time. Aranchini was ok but the beef stew was not very warm. The chocolate hazelnut desert was nice. Total bill was £130 with a couple of drinks. We will be trying other Italian restaurants in Leeds before returning.

Food was average for the price. There were a few things on menu that were not available so had to change what we wanted. One of us ordered sea bass but unfortunately it was really bland and dry. However service was faultless, we were quickly refunded for the sea bass. So a mixed bag due to the price of food probably won’t try again.

The food we had was good and the venue is nice. They forgot a couple of things off the order which was annoying and my fiance, who doesn't eat pork, ordered the beef lasagne. Just before the waiter left the table we asked if the lasagne had pork in it as a lot of Italian places mix the two. Turns out it did so we're glad we asked. I think this needs to be made clearer on the menu - there must be a lot of people ordering this who don't realise they're eating pork.

Everything about our meal was perfect. Service was truly second to none and staff were incredibly accommodating. I rarely see my extended family and we wanted a nice treat, this definitely fit the bill. Sadly didn't get to try the cocktails, but the bar is so beautiful I'll definitely be back.

We had our graduation dinner last night with all other graduates from Leeds and it's the perfect venue for any type of celebration! The restaurant is wide so there is still a sense of privacy from other parties! The food is phenomenal. We've never had Italian Food and Cocktails as amazing as what we had! I ordered the Risotto Carbonara and it is THE BEST risotto I have had in my life! The seafood linguine and chicken escalope are also a must try!! The restaurant's ambience and interior is very chic and it was fascinating seeing chefs cooking right in the middle of the restaurant! Service was prompt and impeccable despite the busy hours. We will definitely come back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for fine italian food in Leeds.

Stunning restaurant split into 3 areas. Bar, casual dining and restaurant.Visited on a shopping trip to Leeds and have to say the food was excellent. Surprised to see that they offer traditional Sunday dinner on Sundays.We ordered lasagne, meatballs in pasta and mains averaged out at £15-£20.I loved the kids menu which was very sensibly priced at £6.50 for mains.Decor was excellent and service of a very high standard.5* RECOMMEND

I’m not really the type to leave a review as I work in hospitality and can usually sympathise with a restaurant. However, just genuinely felt disappointed. Came here after seeing glowing reviews on social media and google. Came in and were told we were early so was sat at the bar. Had a bit of time to order a drink. Bar set up is pic worthy and bartender was friendly. Drinks were what you’d expect really for the price. Ordered calamari for starter (£11) and only got 3 pieces along with some tempura veg. Sauce was good enough but the calamari was bland and disappointing for the price. A lot of the mains seemed to come without sides for around £21-£23 and sides were ordered separately. I got the stuffed crispy chicken which was a tad over cooked and what you’d expect from a chain restaurant- although a chain restaurant would have probably given me a side too for that price. Just seemed a bit of a rip off for 1 bit of chicken for £20+. Fries were tasty but again, they’re fries. My partner had a seafood linguine which only came with one prawn in a shell and a couple of clams. Calamari in the linguine was undercooked and hard. So, again, a bit of a disappointment for £26. Bit of a wait for food and service was a little standoffish. Both of our stomachs were unsettled afterwards and just didn’t feel like we’d got what we paid for. The rest of the food looks good and I’m sure it’s not all like what we had. Just seems very overpriced- I know we are paying for a name, but we definitely aren’t paying for the quality.

This was a birthday treat for me and it was a good thing we booked as it was quite busy. Despite this, the staff at Gino's were at the top of their game, everything was amazing! I have particular dietary needs yet this was no problem whatsoever. The food was excellent, nothing was rushed and we weren't under pressure at any time to finish up and move on.The team done an amazing job at Gino's, all the tables around us appeared to be enjoying the same extremely high level of service. This was good, very good!Highly recommended, definitely coming again!

We had the pleasure of dining at the new Gino’s leeds restaurant last week. They occupy a large portion of the downstairs at the Leeds Marriott on Boar Lane and inside is just exquisite from the marble bar lounge area to the cicchetti bar it has a glamorous and opulent feel.Enjoying drinks in the busy bar before food you get to watch the world go by through the huge windows.I like that they have quite an extensive fish menu although I was craving a pasta dish so got the best of both.For a starter we chose to just get something to share and opted for their version of garlic tomato bread which we all enjoyed.I opted for the salmon pasta, so tasty and so very filling to the point that I even left a little, John went for the bolognese dish and JJ the lasagne dish both of which were favourable and enjoyable.They did make a mistake with one of the main dishes but were very quick to rectify this and it didn't hold up the rest of our meals.I would highly recommend a visit here and what is even better you get the added bonus of signing up to their app that gives you points every time you spend with them. Bonus. 10/10 for our experience here.

We were in Leeds for the weekend and just happened to find Gino's. We were able to book for that evening which was a real bonus. The restaurant is stunning with lovely decor. Service was very good, without being in your face. Now the food! Delicious and plentiful. It was served hot and I could taste the individual ingredients perfectly. Thank you Gino.
