This place is usually great. Unfortunately this particular day was not good. It seemed a young girl was cooking and my bacon in my sandwich was terribly over cooked and my wife's toastie was so thin it had nothing hardly inside, in the way of content. Then a rude delivery driver parked right by us and left his engine on and it was a hot day so we had to move, I just felt they should have told him to move and turn off his engine. No thought for the customer. But as I say usually it's great here.

Visited this cafe/farm shop daily during a short break staying at a local cottage. Staff were extremely welcoming & friendly, great service and local knowledge. We had tea & coffee at reasonable prices. Shop sold a good range of local produce including beers. A great little gem , would recommend a visit.

We have been there a few times and had millionaires shortbread, rocky roads or brownies with drinks which were all okay but on the last occasion we ordered pizza and garlic bread and I was really disappointed with the quality. I was hoping for proper pizza from a pizza oven but even a decent supermarket pizza would have been better than their very hard pizza bases that I assume they buy and add toppings to. The toppings were not very nice either, watery (tinned?) tomatoes and tasteless (cheddar?) cheese. The service was okay, reasonably quick, and the setting is lovely.

Lovely little cafe with undercover outside seating. Food is good. We pop in here for breakfast sandwich & coffee before having a walk with the dogs.
