The Flavour Trailer

Ordered in person on the interesting iPad outside from the van in Raunds. The burgers were amazing and chips even better. I think this is a place you go back and try something new every time. To me it was a step up from a takeaway, more than I expected which was great.

Ordered for the first time after hearing good things about these guys. Ordered Brisket flavour and the big flavour burgers, smokey briskey fries, plain fries and some BBQ boneless chicken thighs. The big flavour, is a massive burger, couldn't get my mouth around it and I've got a fairly large mouth, burger was immense, thick gherkins, decent out of sauce and cheese, beef patties were pink in the middle, everything in this bun was fantastic. The brisket flavour has one pattie and a good lump of Brisket in the bun, tasted great too. Boneless thighs have a decent BBQ sauce on top, sweet and smokey. The fries are thin French fries and we're nice but I think a better chip would be better, that being said, if they were eaten hot they would have been fine but by the time we got home, they were a little cold. Didn't stop us enjoying the food and will be going back.

Unfortunately there was to much pepper on the patty which over powered the other flavours in the burger & the pulled pork could do with a bit more flavour as it was a little bland. The chicken thighs and the burger patty's where cooked perfectly though hence the 3 stars. The chicken batter was pleasant too and has the potential to be something rather nice if they can get some better sauces.. mango habanero, some sort of house sauce and tweaking the peeking sauce to make it a bit more special I would personally recommend as I believe this place has big potential. The BBQ sauce was to vinegary and sour and needs some sort of chipotle or smoky seasoning adding to it. Personally I wouldn't return and dont think it is anything special for the price. If you want a better burger and willing to travel I would recommend caws burger in hitchin or chunkeez in Milton Keynes.

We had them deliver to work today. They are the best burgers I have ever had. Definitely going to have more :)

Incredible food! The Fire chicken burger is my go to and I swear it gets better every time I have it! Best burgers around!

Picture this:It’s Friday evening, you and your partner just got home from work. “What are we gunna eat?” he asksYou look at him with a glint in your eye “take away?”He reluctantly agrees, “fine but where, dining out or bring it home?”You think about it for a second, but then remember the long day at work you just had and getting dressed up is the last thing you want to do. “I’ll look online” you mutter as he slams the bathroom door shut. You hear the shower turn on and realise you have approximately 3 and a half minutes before he starts to get so hangry he refuses to leave the house. Time is ticking, you’re contemplating if you’ve made the right choice, then suddenly you remember a post he sent you on instagram a month ago. Frantically you scroll trying to find it. “Yes! the flavour trailer” you shriek. The shower has stopped running at this point, you are praying they are somewhere close. You scroll through and find it. Perfect, 7 miles away. You tell him you’re going to warm up the car and he follows, before he hesitates. “Where are we going” he asks. “Just wait and see” you reply smuggly. When he is in the car you tell him to pull out his phone and order. He looks at you like he’s won the lottery. “What would you like?” he asks, at this point your just relived the hanger hasn’t taken a hold and you’re still going to eat more than a can of beans for dinner. “Anything” you reply “anything with chicken”He looks at you and smiles.We arrive home. Windows steaming up from the hot food in the bag. You both watch intently as you open the first box, he lets out a little moan, excitement fills the air as we plate up the food. You’re in so much of a rush you forget to bring your drink to the table but you don’t even care. The blend of aromas fill your nostrils, fireworks go off in your brain. With every mouthful you just want more and more, it’s a race to finish, but you don’t want it to be over. The juices dripping as the blend of sauces dance on your tongue, the best money you’ve ever spent. You discuss private hire for your potential future wedding, you wouldn’t have anyone else cater, you would give up everything for another bite. And then, it’s all over. You lay there and look at eachother as if you have just had an out of body experience, like you was possessed by something, you couldn’t get enough.You promise eachother to go back but with your entire family, because to share this with them, is the only way you now know to show you love someone.So please if you are thinking about eating here. Stop. You do not need to think anymore. And if you read to the end of this, then you should definitely go, I’ll let you see for yourself.
