Good food but lady behind the counter could do with a lesson in customer relations. Managed to ignore me for a long time whilst she counted the stock. Too busy to ask what I would like. I hope the new bread shop opening provides some welcome competition.

Working round the corner for 4 weeks straight, ordered warm mayo & chicken every time & no issue today they say it's not allowed? Health & hygein laws have not change over night? One rule one week then a different one the week after, an the milk is always on the date limit & on its way out. Very hit & miss!

Roast pork sandwiches are really good. They only get 4 stars though because they ran out of plain sausage rolls before 12 o'clock!?

Apparently Roses don't take cash anymore, what kind of a pathetic policy is that!!!! I have to take cash at work so why shouldn't they?? The women who served me was very rude when I proffered the correct change for my coffee so I ignored her, left my change on the counter & walked out with my coffee. A case of another company trying to force customers to use card only payments. Suffice to say I will never shop in Rose's again.

They only allow 3 people in the shop at any one time. I was rudely and abruptly told to wait outside in a manner as if my actions were irresponsible and that i'd kill everyone with covid. When I finally got in and placed my order they made my sandwich up but then would not accept cash so I ended up leaving without my dinner. It was a waste of time I won't be going back, terrible way to treat customers

Used to be the best hot pork sandwiches ever now they are horrid! Pork is tough and chewy, found out they have stopped using a local supplier and are now importing cheap nasty stuff,using a different cut of meat too. Product quality has gone extremely down hill but prices have gone up. So disappointing as I've used them for over 25years. So So sad I will not be going back!!!!

Update 2021 - Well done Roses, your new Vegan Rolls are delicious! :) Staff at Millhouses branch are lovely, but no Vegan options here unfortunately. Would suggest Roses could look into serving Homous, Flora Margarine (which is Vegan), Vegan Mayo, Peanut Butter, Vegan Sausages and Vegan Sausage Rolls, etc. ** Hi and thanks for your reply - I did spend some time checking when I went in and the only food you had that a Vegan could eat, were Bread, Salad, Crisps and Mini Gingerbread Men in a gift bag..

The staff are lovely, the food is great. The owner refuses to accept cash payments, enforces distancing still, pressured staff to wear masks etc. I won't support any business still operating like that.

Very poor hygiene. Used fingers to make sandwiches whilst also handling cash. Not quite sure how they attained 5 star hygiene rating! Also very expensive compared to competitors and the quality is no better than many other places in the area.

The best in Sheffield. Beats Béres hands down on pork sandwiches; I was left in a state of ecstasy by the one I just ate. The other hot food is delicious too.
