Outstanding. This is the 2nd time I've used Ed and once again I'm very happy with his high quality of work and great value for money. He replaced the expansion vessel on my boiler which immediately resolved the problem of too much pressure and my heating not working properly. He attended twice (one after hours), to fix it as quickly as possible and kept me informed throughout the process. Professional, polite, honest, on-time and I trust his work. Highly recommended!!

I found EC Plumbing & Gas Services on Google after being let down by my usual gas engineer which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Their engineer Edward was very professional and helpful over the phone, and was able to visit our flat within a couple of hours and replace a faulty gas hob isolating valve with minimal fuss and at a very competitive price!I thoroughly recommend Edward and EC Plumbing & Gas Services

Ed is an excellent plumber who I’ve used a number of times, and I’d highly recommend the quality and efficiency of his work. He has brilliant attention to detail and he will point things out that others miss. For example, he spotted a flaw in the way the boiler was installed when doing an annual safety inspection, which hadn’t been highlighted previously. It just required a pipe to be slightly moved and he did so for a reasonable price. Similarly, he pointed out an issue with how a cooker pipe was installed and also rectified this for a good price. He’s never trying to upsell, but will highlight issues around safety or good maintenance. He’ll go above and beyond, for example, he contacted Vaillant due to an error on the boiler display, so that they could sort it within warranty, rather than pay extra for his services. He’s laid pipes for a new radiator, and also changed all the bathroom taps and shower, which he did to a high standard.And in a world where so many workmen these days seem to want to do everything remotely and therefore overquote on jobs because they’ve only seen photos, Ed will take the time to visit the job, so that it can be priced based on a realistic first-hand assessment of what’s needed.His communication is very good and he will also give helpful tips about where to buy materials and products to use. He’s meticulous about doing a good job and also he doesn’t leave a mess, even if it’s a big job. He’s a top rate plumber, who is professional, hard working and trustworthy.

Ed installed eight radiators for me six months ago did a bang up professional job, and a couple of weeks ago came back and installed a new boiler in a tricky spot. Very professional fast reliable and on the ball! Highly recommended.

I can not recommend Ed highly enough. Decorators had made the installation of a boiler at my place considerably more complicated than was originally quoted for. After a little bit of head scratching, Ed calmly discussed the options and came up with a solution everyone was happy with. As an owner of many properties who has installed numerous boilers over the years in many properties - I was impressed Ed didn't walk off onto easier jobs, but came up with options and discussed them through with me intelligently and calmly explaining strengths and weaknesses of different options that we faced as a result of the job changing. It obviously helped that I understood the issues that had been created by my decorators, but this allowed me to confirm that Ed was honest and open. The finished job was done to an excellent standard and on time. There were some small changes to the quote but they were entirely reasonable.I have worked with dozens and dozens of plumbers over the years for a variety of jobs - Ed is by far the most professional one I have come across.

Edward went above and beyond when servicing our boiler and cylinder, he spotted that one other flat in the building had a gas leak and immediately jumped to action to make sure it was addressed ASAP and we all were safe. Excellent professional, 100% recommended.

Highly recommended. My elderly boiler finally gave up and Ed came and replaced it the same day, working very late into the evening to get the job done. He really went out of his way to be helpful. I was very grateful to him as it was during a cold spell of weather. Ed has done other boiler maintenance and plumbing work for me at other times and has always done a great job. His work is reasonably priced and he is fair and very reliable.
