Arnold Clark Linwood SEAT / Škoda

Walked in with the misses and kids and went to reception who was great, I was then given a salesman(not sure if thje title is warranted here) i asked to see a seat estate or a Skoda Kodiak the chap looked utterly confused and said we don't have any of those here they sell as quickly as they come in. No asking us if we were interested in anything else or if we wanted to look at used ones even though i promoted him to do so .The fire alarm went off at the same time so we had to leave utterly ridiculous service. I hope management read this and actually help better train staff in catching sales . plus news for us we bought kodiaq that same day( elsewhere) and are picking it up shortly. first and last time id step foot in a place like that. I put as much detail as needed so the member of staff remembers who i am ,shoddy work lad.

Sham company I will never buy another car off them they pass the buck everytime there is work to be done under warranty stay away from them

Want to say how helpful your sales person Shannon mccafferty was in showing us different models in your garage she was very informative and knowledgeable and professional nothing was too much trouble for her a credit to your organisation

We ordered a car in October 2022Waited till November 2023 to be called to say it will ready - the day the car was meant to be delivered we were called to say the wrong car had been sent. Spoke to a sales manager Blair McDonald who was adamant we got what was ordered. The salesman finally admitted that we didn’t get what was ordered and this mistake was 100% a human error on Arnold Clark side. They now want us to wait at least another 9 months till they re order the car. Supposed to be one of the biggest dealerships in the country and they can’t offer any alternative solutions.The sales manager didn’t even offer an apologySham of an operationAvoid at all costs

I recently purchased a new car at Linwood Seat/Skoda. Declan was very helpful and great at communicating throughout the whole process and I’m extremely happy with my new car.

Just wanted to say a Huge Thank You to John Johnston Motability at Skoda/ Seat garage Linwood for our new Seat Ateca John was so courteous and dealt with us with compassion answered all our questions in a professional manner also called us straight away when our car arrived which wasn't long at all Thank You John

Edit: I regret buying a car from here. My complaint has been dealt with by the branch manager since the time of writing my original review so here is a breif summary of my experience.I bought a Vauxhall Astra 1.4T Elite NAV for £9796 outright and I was promised a full tank of petrol and orginal astra mats as a bonus by my consultant, Ryan Crawford.I drove off with it the following day and immidiately noticed the car had 2000 miles more on the clock than advertaised. It also had a faulty headlamp. After three weeks and a some back and forth, my headlamp was fixed and the manager agreed to refund me £100 for the difference in millage.The mats I got were not the Astra ones I was promised but cheap Arnold Clark ones instead. I'll be replacing them promtly. I called Ryan out for lying to me and I was brushed off as a nuisance like I had been several times in the last three weeks. I finally lost my patience with him and we had an argument in the showroom over it.The brute stormed up and down the showroom, got in my face, told me to f off, and called me wee man" several times. He is actually twice or maybe even three times my size so I felt genuinely threatened as well as offended on a personal level. He told me I was upsetting the customers and I was left wondering what that made me...am I not a customer who is being upset by you Ryan? You lied to me to close a sale.After sharing my version of events with the branch manager it's clear I was portrayed as the villan by other staff because I lost my cool despite being antagonised by Ryan. I asked that the manager check CCTV to confirm aspects of my story but he said they don't record in that particular building. He said my feedback regarding Ryans unprofessional behaviour would be taken on board."

Car is currently in with a noise from the engine, first time they had it in they said they couldn’t fault it. Second time they said there may be swarf in the gearbox. They have done a gearbox oil change under warranty but the noise is still there, they are now asking us for over £200 (apparently this is not covered by warranty and it’s due to the way we are driving, even though they don’t actually know if this is the issue) to carry out an adjustment but they don’t even know if this will fix it. I phoned the branch twice to speak to the advisor Megan but she couldn’t be bothered phoning back, eventually after sending an email to the manager he called back but he couldn’t really give any answers and it seems like a guessing game at the expense of us. I called seat customer services to discuss but they can’t speak to me because Arnold Clark haven’t updated the VMS system even though my car has been in with them several times for services previously, so no one has ever updated this. I then called Arnold Clark again to get them to update the system but once again no one is answering the calls so I can’t take this further with seat until this is updated. Absolutely shocking service.

After having a terrible experience at the Bishopbriggs Branch and customer services (believe it or not). Claiming to ‘fix’ my car and also even damaging it (most likely accidentally) but telling me it was my fault.. I returned to Linwood Seat, where i bought my car, and Richard and Alanna could not have been any better. They whipped me up with a stunning courtesy car while mine was away down to MINI to get fixed. I finally got my car back to me in working order. Despite the car having many issues, Richard resolved them all with no fuss and has kept in contact with me ever since. I feel i can message him at any time and he is there to help! Alanna from service was great too, her lovely manner and customer service has honestly repaired even what i went through with Bishopbriggs!! A huge thank you to them and your team!

Reserved a car on the Friday and it was ready at short notice to pick up Saturday. Great service and understood what I wanted which was to pay cash and take the car away.Wasnt given the hard sell and shown any marks before taking away.Overall simple and easy process.
