Not only did our 1950s period doors come back gorgeously stripped of their 40years of paint, but Hugo was a massive help and support, providing information we would have spent months researching. Would absolutely recommend!

Contacted this Company to pick up doors and strip them . Never got back to confirm the time after they told me the day . Rang and left a message to ask can they confirm and still no call back . Will not recommend and poor customer service

Hugo has a vast knowledge of all door-related renovation work and was incredibly helpful. He also provided great assistance to help rectify the work of an unnamed competitor with great care and insight. Highly recommended.

So glad I got in touch with Hugo at Strip Shack when restoring my Victorian terraced house. He knows everything about everything and always happy to take the time to give fair and honest advice. His 'strip shack' is not exactly your regular antique showroom so don't expect a polished shop, but it is an absolute Aladdins' cave of beautiful items at very reasonable prices.

Randomly chosen after finding the plethora of available places that strip doors on the good old internet. What an absolute fantastic service, the knowledge of the guy is unsurpassable! He collected on time and had all the time in the world to give me great information about all dates and details of the woodwork in our Victorian house. 100% recommended

Absolutely fantastic service from Hugo. Friendly and by far the best price. Amazed at the result, the wood has come back to life. If anyone knows wood- Hugo does. Would highly recommend and will use again.
