Charley Woods | Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust | A mosaic of woodlands in the heart of Charnwood, this ancient, broadleaved woodland is bursting with wildlife. In the spring, you can enjoy a spectacular display of bluebells. Enjoy woodland birds all year round, including Nuthatch, Treecreeper, woodpeckers and Tawny Owls.

A fantastic nature reserve which has lots of wildlife especially fungi in late summer/autumn but also a wide range of birds, insects and plant species.It is also completely free to visit and is always quiet too.
