I have been patients of this hospital since 2015 and it really is a good hospital. Thank you to the rheumatology department and the entire team for everything they have done for me this year. I have never been refused, the staff is very kind. I truly appreciate all you do!Thank you!

I am shocked with the duty of care this hospital provides. Ward 624 and 622 please people be aware of staff, and the level of care they give. I am very concerned of the patients welfare and how most patients are treated, my sister who’s terminally ill and when in ward 624 she would not be showered or checked on when needing help, my family member would always cry for help!! We decided to discharge her and look after my sister at home. When at the haematology appointment the nurse gave the bad news to my sister and it was septic shock. So my sister was admitted not to mention she has cancer. I asked if my sister would be safe they reassured us that it’s a different ward this time; 622 and what a disaster this ward is!!! No shower for the patient, they don’t even prompt the patient or aid in eating, and my sister wet her self and for two hours she was lying in soiled sheets crying! Then my sister shouts! and everyone comes! Does a person need to should to be heard!!When I got there and told them how upset I was they didn’t care!! I was fed up and decided to discharge her. When I discharged my sister then they all came running and stopping me, and locked us in the ward like a prisoner, which btw is illegal,How about when I was calling??? and you would never get back to me??? and when I go down and ask to speak to someone, no one comes. This place has gone down hill, unless you’re English and upper class they will give you the time and day otherwise they don’t care who’s dying!!Furthermore I asked staff where the towels were for personal care because they don’t do personal care apparently!! They directed me to the linen draw; what is going on how poor are the standards!!! Please be careful when leaving family at queen Elizabeth in 622 and 624 constantly eating away at the gifts that are donated and gossiping in the corners and chatting and laughing and not caring who’s crying!! This is the problem with the NHS all nurses are good for is eating and gossiping, even if we were to give them a pay rise, they would still do the same thing!!

I recently had hand surgery at the QE Ambulatory care department and the care I received was awesome. All the staff were very kind and extremely helpful. The surgery team were brilliant beyond my expectations. These people don't get the credit they deserve so I thank them all for being such kind, dedicated and professional people.Thank you all.

Visited today, three separate appointments all done before 12 o'clock dinner time. WOW. Very impressed. On other days one appointment can take four hours plus.Staff seem very efficient & helpful. If it's a choice between Sandwell hospital or Queen Elizabeth hospital. The QE wins without doubt.Even a fresh fruit & vegetables store outside as seen in the photo's.The photo of the ambulance is 360 degree's so you can look in any direction.

I spent just over 2 weeks on ward 412 - the Major Trauma Unit, after I suffered a really bad accident. The Doctors and Nurses were fantastic and I have nothing but praise for them all. Even the food was nice. Of course I wanted to get home, but my stay was made a really good experience by the brilliant staff.

On the plus side, the new hospital is much easier to get around and every nurse (especially the students) and healthcare assistant has been pleasant and helpful to patients and visitors alike. However, the staff are extremely busy and sadly patients are left waiting for dignity-related requests such as needing a bedpan/pad changing or a catheter bottle emptying.Patient meals are not great, often the meat options are served cold and tough as old boots! On a cold night this week, my relative was told the ward had NO blankets so could only give extra cotton sheets. Given you're looking after vulnerable elderly patients this isn't good enough.

Great hospital, it is an iconic health centre in UK. I liked the community and faith centre within hospital, all can practice their faith.

I travelled from Australia for a family bereavement to learn that their partner was in hospital for cancer treatment.Once I found out which hospital he was in, QE hospital staff stopped at nothing to find him for me despite me not knowing the patient's date of birth making things more difficult. A nurse even took time out to escort me to the correct ward so I could spend time with him during an incredibly difficult period for both of us.I appreciate this so much knowing how busy staff, especially nurses, are in every hospital all around the world. They are angels in scrubs.Thank you so much.
